It will under-gear the system i.e. more towards acceleration but there will be loss in top speed. If you don't do much highway riding, this may make you slightly happy.
It will give more acceleration, but it will put extra load on the chain and there will be more wear and tear.

Mileage will also take a hit but 2-3 km/L.
I had discussed the same on this thread couple of months back and decided to stay stock due to the decrease in mileage.

Do post your reviews after covering kms.

              Cheerz!!
Yes, as per the dealer, medium compound is to reduce punctures and the curved shape too to avoid "chicken strips" problem. Compared with another fz with stock tyres on , the new REVZ-M lifts the rear a bit higher. Now the bike has a higher stance. But looked small when compared to the stock one. This looked more like P180 or P220 sized tyre and isn't that wide. I shall surely share my experience after few hundred kms.

I would suggest you to head to a authorized MRF Exclusive store, you will get the new stock and get it for fair price with warranty against defects.

              Cheers

                Hi mates,
I shall be going abroad for some office assignment for over a year of span. Please let me know to keep my beloved Fazer in good condition during that time as it will remain mostly unused, as per discussion with svc centre guys, they told me that if my father rides it seldom and at least keeps the engine in running condition for few minutes in every week , it wiil be fine. Could you please share your views regarding the same? And please let me know the oil change and service intervals.
                Thanks in advance

There are number of things that you can do for your beloved.
                  1. Get your bike serviced properly(and i mean properly), rectify any minor or major part before storing the bike.
                  2. Drain petrol completely out from your petrol tank and carburettor.
                  3. After draining petrol from gas tank pour some oil in it and rotate the tank so that the inner walls of the tank is coated with an oil film.
                  4. Unscrew spark plug pour on teaspoon of engine oil in it and crank it over several times with ignition off.
                  5. Tightly plugg bikes exhaust with some clean rags.
                  6. Fill empty space in air cleaner box with some clean rags.
                  7. You can also fill up the engine case with maximum engine oil.
                  8. Tightly coverup the front disc brakes master cylinder, disc brake caliper, apply some oil on the disc from both sides to prevent it from rusting, drain brake fluid completely.
                  9. Lubricate all of the nuts bolts, brake rods, and any other small items, or you can spray them with WD40 sparay.
                  10. Pull out your battery get if fully recharged cover it up and keep the battery in some warm place or in a store.
                  11. Lift the bike wheels off the ground, purchase some old milk crate or soft drink crate or a stool(if you don't want to invest in a service stand), lifting the wheels off the ground will not only save your tyres but will also save bikes suspension.
                  12. Clean and lubricate the chain properly.
                  13. Purchase good quality bike cover.
                  14. Whenever you return to use your bike change all the fluids.

There are more things which i might have missed, so for more information you can try this link How to Store Your Motorcycle for the Winter and Cold Weather

I hope by following these methods your bike will remain as new as it is now. cheerz

Had visited the MRF stockist only. As usual, what i get to hear was, "maal kaha aata hai" (stock dosen't come only).

Waiting for your review on new tyre.

Went to the SVC for disc brake pads(fz/fazer). The present cost is 145.
Also took the details of chain and sprocket kit which is 1200 something.

Can you please post a pic of the old fluid when you open the master cylinder.
