It's little over 600 ml in each fork. Motul fork oil comes in 350 ml bottles so you are left with some oil after buying 4*350 ml & using in both forks. Mrp per 350 ml pack is rs 145

If you can help with a soft copy of the service centre manual, it would be of great help. Else please let me know from where can i get the same.

Just got my oil changed. Was using Motul 300v 15w 50 FS oil. Now went back to Motul 7100 20w50 FS.
Thought i'll present my thoughts on this oil just for other riders here.
Used this oil for just more than 2.5k kms.
The oil is excellent only in the right conditions i.e. thrashy throttle-happy riding.
Since this oil is designed for racing applications and high-performance engines, its real magic becomes apparent only after you cross 5k rpm.
Below that it feels as if the oil is nothing special but it feels smooth especially in the hot summers. Cross 5k and it completely transforms its character. The feeling is simply different.
Like suddenly all the engine parts are floating and not touching each other
Throttle response becomes very eager as if the engine is urging you on to go harder.
It feels amazing and is really great when touring. You can happily cruise along at 90-95kmph.

Also this oil requires some time to warm up and be effective (again this is considering its racing application).
So to summarize, this is a two-faced oil. Its character below 5k rpm is just like any other oil. Protective and smooth but nothing special.
Above 5k rpm, its like nothing else. It becomes the best oil for your engine.

Another consideration is its high price of about 1k INR. So it has to be used with a lot of thought about riding conditions.
Will I use it again? Definitely! But only if I'm going to go touring or racing
Else i'll stick to the tried and tested Motul 7100 FS.

                Hey guys,
Its been a week since I bought my FZS battle green.
Here are a few things, pls clarify me on those,
                1. When I use disc brake,I hear a hissing sound not loud, can be heard on silent roads. Is it normal?
                2. When I use back brake when I press almost til the end, I hear a sound from rear brake something lik this tak-tak-tak...when I release brake its gone. Is this normal?
                3. Rode continuously for 10 kilometers. I could feel the hot air from engine hit my legs. I did not ride fast,as the showroom guy advised me to ride under 40kmph until first service. The max speed I reached was 42. Still it got hot. Normal?
                4. I fuelled my vehicle for Rs.500(80rs for 1litre) on day one. The fuel indicator showed 4bars. Now I've totally ridden 126 kilometers. There're only 2 bars of fuel getting displayed. Does that mean I'm getting only a mileage of around 25? I swear I never crossed 42kmph speed. Or wil it improve after first service?
                .
This is my first bike guys, that's y so many doubts.
                Thank you

Congratz on your new bike and welcome to the xBhp brotherhood.

-> Noise from the front disc could be coming from the new brake-pads. Since its a new bike, they need to get rubbed. Ride for more kilometers and see if it still persists.
-> Noise from rear brake ? Check the chain slack ( if chain is loose). It sometimes causes such noises. I can't think of other reasons.
-> Its summer time mate, the engine would get hot. And also since the engine is new, it will heat up slightly. So no worries.
-> The fuel indicator is not accurate. You it only for getting idea of how much fuel 'might' be left.

One more thing, don't look at the speed in the run-in period. Look at RPMs and keep the RPMs below 5K during the first service. And things will certainly improve as you ride more kms.
Hope this helps and kindly read this thread. Might be long and may take a lot of time, but you will get to know almost everything about the bike and would know all the problems faced by members and their solutions.

                  Ride safe and have fun.

Same Engine Oil I am using crossed 1k with it. And Motul 7100 20w50 was My First New Oil Change at 6th(last) free service
The experience is Amazing butter smooth engine
                    Only problem I faced
                    1. Some time gear slips while shifting after 300-400km problem was gone
2.It takes time to heat up only then you can drag your Bike to fullest not sudden approx 3-5 km.

At delhi it costed me around Rs.745 bought it in March2014. End week of may My first paid service starting will use the same motul oil.

Regarding your bike's rear brake noise, i think this noise should not come, this noise sometimes comes when the old brake drums are resurfaced on a lathe and the cutting bit removes old lining and creates a new mating surface for the brake pads during this procedure the cutting bit will create a groove in the brake drum which cannot be seen by eyes, when the brake shoe ride on the new surface they follow the groove, when the shoe is not able to move along with the groove the shoe will snap back and hit the backing plate, thus making a thumping noise, this noise is very annoying and not easily detectable, if your brakes are squeaking then this is the sign of cheap brake pads, (this also shouldn't be happening to your bike as it is brand new) cheap brake pads or shoes have large chunk of metals which when hit the drum or disc makes this kind on noise, so i would suggest you to take your bike to ASC and get your rear brake drum visually inspected by the mechanic.

Thank you bro, will get it rectified. Squeaking sound is not heard, But its not a thumping sound either. Something like a tick, when you tap a Wooden table with your index finger nail twice every second.
