      Hi Guys,

I washed my bike just now, and when I switch the key to ON position im hearing a KUUUUUUUIIIIII sound from the indicator buzzer without even switching on. Dont know what to do guys. something to panic?

I have attached the video of my query, Pls check out and tel me. If I unplug the buzzer from socket the sound is gone. when I reinsert I get the sound back.

Shorted. Let it dry up over a day. Only a temporary niggle.

You can dry it with hair drier but i don't think there is any need of it just keep the seat open and let it dry or you can dry it with hair drier while buzzer is still attached to the bike, plus be cautious while washing your bike wrap up the electricals switches and other parts like flasher etc. with some plastic sheet before washing.

oops! saw your reply now. I noticed that battery is wrapped in some rubber thing and fixed onto the socket. I removed both battery and buzzer and blow dried it. Now sound is gone! will take care next time.

              Thank you all

What is the drain interval of motul 7100 20W50. I am thinking to drain after 2500, right now crossed 1800 with that oil.

Change it at 3500-4000kms. 2500kms is good for mineral and 7100 being a FS should stay put till 4000kms easily.

                  Ride safe and have fun.

The best way is to keep checking the oil regularly and change it when the oil goes bad. Usually you'll know that the oil is bad when there are lots of metal particles in the oil or the oil doesn't feel "oily" between your fingers anymore. This will also indicate the general health of the engine. For example if the oil level is dropping significantly, then there is a possibility of a bust piston ring.
