Re: A year old rider. Needs the elder brothers/sisters to help him out
Matte finish products are more difficult to maintain, as the products available for this kind of paint in the market are less and expensive too ,if you are not able to get this shampoo you can also look out for plain dish washing liquid, choose one which has got no fragrance, some special polishes are there in the market, these polishes are very mild and will prevent matte finish from minor scratches, use ultra soft towels to clean your bike tank, one should never wash his vehicle daily as it will dull the paint, plus water when gets mixed with dust particles on the bike, these particles just get rubbed on the bike by the force of water hence leaving minute scratches, best is to wash your vehicle when it gets very dirty and can't be cleaned by cloth alone.Originally posted by thunderstorm29 View PostDont be sorry, I did the search before buying.

Ok bro. Will keep this in mind. Then for daily cleaning, I will just use a dry ultra soft towel or micro fibre sponge and just wipe the dust without wetting the surface, Hope I am doing it rightOriginally posted by kusmaker View PostMatte finish products are more difficult to maintain, as the products available for this kind of paint in the market are less and expensive too ,if you are not able to get this shampoo you can also look out for plain dish washing liquid, choose one which has got no fragrance, some special polishes are there in the market, these polishes are very mild and will prevent matte finish from minor scratches, use ultra soft towels to clean your bike tank, one should never wash his vehicle daily as it will dull the paint, plus water when gets mixed with dust particles on the bike, these particles just get rubbed on the bike by the force of water hence leaving minute scratches, best is to wash your vehicle when it gets very dirty and can't be cleaned by cloth alone.

Any rubbing on the paint part will induce scratches and eventually scratches or swirl marks will get on your painted surface you cannot stop them completely, suppose lots of dust has accumulated on your bike tank, take a wet sponge and instead of rubbing it on the tank just tap it on the tank, once major dust has been lifted up by the sponge, wash the sponge with fresh water, repeat these steps of tapping until you feel that all of the dust has been lifted up by the foam or sponge.

See bro that's the problem with matte finish products once you scratched there's little that can be done, some scratch removers are available in the market, what these removers do is they lighten the scratch marks so that if gels with rest of the part, or some companies have got matte paints which exactly looks like matte finish but i guess all of these products would be very costly as you have experienced yourself after inquiring of that nano shampoo, so best is to protect it from scratches as long as you can and if the scratches are too much change the panel.

Also today I noticed, while driving there is a rubbing lik sound from engine, I mean even if engine is off and I'm just gliding down the road some sound similar to a half stuck plastic cover is heard. But there are no obstructions, what may be the reason? Anything to worry about?

Yes these are normal chains. O-ring chains will not have these removal link.
The torque wrench that I am using is Norbar make. It cost about Rs.9500
The range is 8-50 Nm
It has got a 3/8" Square drive.
It is made in England and comes with a Calibration certificate traceable to NPL UK

Isn't your bike brand new? Get the front sprocket cleaned and the whole chain lubed.Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.
