Clutch switch. Without this you won't be able to engage the self-starter in any gear except neutral.

            Hi
The engine seems to be running lean.
            1) Please get your carb cleaned then tuned properly.
            2)clean/change the air filter.
Also the top speed depends on a lot of other factors like gear shift, acceleration, airfilter etc.

Even after service, my bike does not seem to be as wish and as it was.. I had to modify the Air Fuel Mixture and Idling.. Now bike feels almost good as before, but still feel at times it gives a very very low hick up around 3.5K to 4.5K RPM, and the engine gets off when I speed at 90s and suddenly slow down to 0.. And now I should check the mileage/top end/engine heat.. Will do this friday as I am planning for a bike ride..

Any suggestions guys, how to get through the mentioned two issues ?

The console isnt proper while starting the bike for the first time in a day. Also the red light turns on while starting. But these things happen just once. And nowadays the taillamp are also having complaint. But works fine after sometime.

How to get rid of the scratches? Looks like somebody has tried to do it purposely :banghead:. It is on the right side of tank panel and it is one long scratch with some small ones as return gift :banghead:
The real beauty lies in throttle's twist!!

Headlight can be replaced, Head cannot be. Wear a helmet.

                      One can't.
No amount of wax/polish will work.

If not too deep, you can try with 2k rubbing compound. Then wax it up.

If too deep, Nadeem answered already.

P.P.S - rubbing compounds are abrasive. Don't use it on metal parts.

                        • Frustrated with Yamaha policies.

                          Hi All,

I was proud owner of Yamaha Fazer before this incident. SO incident is like :

On 21st March at 9AM I wane to dealer(Kamla Yamaha, Chinchwad Pune) for 2nd free service. The service guy prepared jobcard and I left my bike there.
Now at 4PM I called them about bike & they told me its ready. I want there and they told me that you have not kept your key with us. WT HELL..
I kept my bike key with them and they are telling me that you haven't given key. Even after discussing for 1 hour they didn't agreed and service manager showed me their terms and conditions. Any parking damage, any damage during test and bla bla bla will be borne by owner.

I came home to pick up duplicate key.
Then I complained this to Yamaha India and after long mail chains they told me that loosing keys is not their fault. I don't have any clues now.

                          1. The service guy told me that its not only policy for Yamaha but for all vehicle manufacturers. Is it true????

                          2. One more thing can I go to other Yamaha dealer for service (they stamped the booklet with their dealership stamps on all pages of service book)??? I am afraid coz I talked with them rudely so they can do any damage and will show their policies and telling me that they are not responsible.

sorry for such a long description.

                          Thanks,
                          Nakul.

Just enquired at the SVC for rear tyre hugger of FZ V2 for V1. It can be fitted, but costs Rs. 800.

Irrespective of pillion, the rear wheel splashes too much of water causing a nuisance to the traffic behind
