Don't know the exact reason, maybe the cleaner carb lets richer fuel than before.
The tip should be dark brown-light black color. Maybe the bikes running 'little' rich on fuel.

Does bike ideals well when choke is off?
If so there is no need to worry.
carb is sending more fuel on applying choke

Since the bike idles after pressing the clutch. It is time for you to go as per SVC's advice.

Thanks. Yes, the bike idles perfectly after shutting off the choke.

Then why use choke at all ?

I have never used choke in my 2 years of ownership.

Went svc today and took clutch housing to a lathe shop to fix the freeplay.

Now bike ideals ok..

guys met with an accident today... God Grace not injured... just scratch on my right arm....
My bike is in good condition but I don't know how the speed meter get cracked

What is the price of new speedo meter and nothing else happen to my bike. Please help me out.

Hi,

The cost of a new speedometer is 2316 rs. Just to be in safer side check whether there is any small bent in handle bar or if the cone set is damaged or not due to the accident.

Yea handle was also bent but I Managed to show my local mechanic, He pult the handle in right align, Cone you are talking about and lever is scratched little bit.

I had last week posted that I was getting a weird tak tak noise from the front end.
Actually it was coming due to the contact between mud guard and the crash guard which had a loose screw. I noticed that while washing the bike today. Silly me

And here I though I might have a damaged conset

Guys, have been running on Shell AX7 (semi-synth) oil for sometime now. Although i am facing one issue, whenever i downshift at higher or lower RPM's, there is khatak sound. This was not the case when i was using mineral oil. Anybody facing this issue with FS/SS oil.

Here are my observation regarding millage

With Shell Petrol

1. Splendor Mode - 50/51 KM/Ltr On Highway and 43-45 KM/Ltr in City
1. FZS Mode - 36/38 KM/Ltr On Highway and 32-34 KM/Ltr in City

Thats the transmission banging when you downshift from high speeds, its normal, and the sound gets louder if there is excess chain slack. I'd suggest you first get the chain tightened, and then try to shift more smoothly, like matching revs while downshifting.
