    Na na, don't worry.
But if this happens again, go and get the bike checked with svc.

    Ride safe and have fun.

But when I ride with a pillion rider, twice I have encountered the following problem. Around speeds of 30-40, the bike starts to struggle. Even when I raise my acc. the speed keeps dropping. The sound and feel is like the bike is dying out of energy. First time this happened was jus for a very short distance. But 2nd time, which was today, for some period of time, it was repeating and struggling to move forward until I dropped my friend and returned back alone. Alas, as soon as I started driving alone, it was simply perfect again! Not even one instance of that problem. But this got me really scared. What if it happens again? I have no clue what the problem is. I have rode the bike perfectly acc to instructions in manual. No rash driving so far. Please suggest me solutions to solve this problem!
Does it happen in any particular gear? You have mentioned that, the speed drops after 30-40kph, does it completely stall the bike? On what kind of road did this happen, plain, inclined, decline?

To check if anything is wrong or not do a simple test, sit on the bike along with a pillion with bike in neutral, fire the bike and throttle it. See how is the response of throttle (don't throttle for long and don't redline it). Check how the RPM drops (easily or stays at some high RPM)

      Cheerz!!

The real beauty lies in throttle's twist!!

Headlight can be replaced, Head cannot be. Wear a helmet.

I rode my bike with a blocked air inlet for about 2000km. My mistake. But nothing happens. Don't worry. It will just make your mixture a little rich. Maybe that's the reason your engine is bogging down.

I am having my baby from 2010. I always wanted to paint it full black. Yesterday did a DIY. The result.

One of my front forks has started leaking oil. Haven't really felt any difference while riding though.

Is this normal? If not, what's the damage and what should I do?

Doesn't look like it reached the disc yet.

The handling will get affected in no time. Get the fork seals changed along with fork oil.

Shouldn't really damage the fork unless I ride for long or on bad roads right?

Please change as quick as possible. Because even if a small drop of fork oil gets into the disc pad. Then you are in big trouble. Better now than latter. And moreover it does not cost much . Only the fork oil is little costly I think around Rs.700( not sure I have changed it some 1 year back).

The suspension will start becoming softer. You will face difference in handling eventually and especially while braking and cornering!

No its not. The oil seal has broken internally and its causing the oil to leak out. Get it changed soon and also the fork oil if required.
Since the fork-assembly has to be opened for this job, check for scratches on the fork tube. You don't know why the oil seal broke. If it was due to a scratch or scruff then the new oil seal will also break pretty soon. If the oil seal broke because it was old, then just replacing it will be fine.

It hasn't yet, but it might very well reach the disc/brake caliper and then you definitely will not like it! If it reaches the disc then you have more work on your hands i.e. cleaning the disc and the brake pads

Don't wait for it. Clean it up as soon as you can and then till you get the oil seal fixed, tie a cloth on the fork down-tube just above the fender so that it absorbs the oil and the oil never has a chance to reach the disc-brake assembly. Better be safe than sorry

                      Cheers!!

The colour of the left front fork (more than half) has turned to light golden.
There are no scratches and the oil seal was changed recently.
What might be the reason ?

I bought my baby in may this year, Got a second hand. But made sure it was from good hands...

Presently i am facing issues with mine, My bikes keep stalling mid way, and when I initially try to start using push start, it doesn't do either.
It run like a dream after my first service, but since the second service in the fag end of sept.

I started facing the following issues with my bike.
                              1. The pick up dropped significantly (Once I couldn't climb a steep slope with a pillion rider, It refused to move at all)
                              2. I suspect the rear suspension is gone (Every time i ride over a steeper speed breaker with my pillion rider, The front stand hits the peak of the slope)
                              3. Last week one of the puncture job started leaking.

I thought due to the battery drainage i was facing the issues in the self start dept. But even after charging the battery. I am not able to fire up the engine initially and it sometimes stalls in the middle of the road.

What might be the issue with the self start & stalling, is it the battery, or is it something which i am not seeing.

How much does a rear suspension of an FZ cost.

With the advent of Fog, is it a good idea to switch to HID lights???

For the pickup issue. Check if your engine is running rich. Check the clutch plates if they are worn and also the clutch springs. Check your engine oil also.
Then make sure your carburetor is not being blocked due to gunk in the fuel lines. Also make sure there is nothing blocking the air inlet port under the seat.

About the stalling and starting issue. When you say it doesn't start at all, do you mean the engine doesn't even crank? If the engine cranks but still refuses to start then it likely is a fuelling issue - again points to a rich mixture thats flooding your engine. But if the engine doesn't crank at all, then it looks like an electrical issue. Maybe something wrong with the bikes wiring.
Anyway its easy to check. Open your spark plug and check its colour. If its chocolaty brown or pale brown then your mixture is fine. If its dark brown or black and covered with oil/soot, then your mixture is rich. If white then your mixture is lean. Check this first.

About the suspension. This is common with our bikes. Even my bike hits the speedbreakers when I ride with pillion. Only way it to tighten your rear suspension. But it will affect handling and comfort of the bike. Handling will become better but you will feel more bumps on the road.

Nothing can be done about the puncture. Get it repaired again or replace the tyre if its too old.

How many KMs on the ODO when you bought the bike?

                                Cheers!
