Then make sure your carburetor is not being blocked due to gunk in the fuel lines. Also make sure there is nothing blocking the air inlet port under the seat.

About the stalling and starting issue. When you say it doesn't start at all, do you mean the engine doesn't even crank? If the engine cranks but still refuses to start then it likely is a fuelling issue - again points to a rich mixture thats flooding your engine. But if the engine doesn't crank at all, then it looks like an electrical issue. Maybe something wrong with the bikes wiring.
Anyway its easy to check. Open your spark plug and check its colour. If its chocolaty brown or pale brown then your mixture is fine. If its dark brown or black and covered with oil/soot, then your mixture is rich. If white then your mixture is lean. Check this first.

About the suspension. This is common with our bikes. Even my bike hits the speedbreakers when I ride with pillion. Only way it to tighten your rear suspension. But it will affect handling and comfort of the bike. Handling will become better but you will feel more bumps on the road.

Nothing can be done about the puncture. Get it repaired again or replace the tyre if its too old.

How many KMs on the ODO when you bought the bike?

Cheers!
The engine doesnt even crank sometimes but after riding for a while it resumes, but its very unpredictable in the traffic , when it works and when it doesn't,

I bought it with 20.5k in the odo, now it has crossed 25k
During my second service i changed my cush pads, air filter, break pads....

since after my second service my bike started all the weird problems....
Engine oil was yamalube standard with the FZ, did my service at an authorized yamaha service center in delhi.

I am planning to change my spark plug, which one should i opt for NGK iridium or platinum?
I am using Hella red trim, along with that i also have monster alarm system , fitted along. I am using a stock battery as of now. I faced the problem of the self start and even my horn was not working , then i went in to recharge my battery , replaced the water and then did the recharge(though the guy only did for an hour/45 mins) , i had a trouble free week after that, then the self start sometimes doesn't crank, usually the issue is when i begin my day, once i am in the road the self start resumes.

For the puncture i redid it with mushroom and went in with N2 gas, It feels better now, I am facing a cash crunch so can't afford a new rear tyre for now.

But i am planning for a Bi Xenon HID H4 6000k and bi projector.

Should i replace my stock battery with 9amp.
With ride is smooth till now touch wood, it has crossed 2 years and 25k recently. What all things should i check or change.
I have already changed the disc pads and cush pads, changed the air filter.

Hmmm.... Although I haven't done any modifications on my bike, it does appear that the load on your battery is more than its able to handle. Yes switching to a higher capacity battery sounds better. Although other riders can help you with this better.

Cheers!!

There are no scratches and the oil seal was changed recently.
What might be the reason ?
The seals have started leaking. You need to check the fork for any scratches. Remove the fork fully and check for scratches, dents, minor lines. Slightest of fault in the fork will easily rupture the seal. Also, check if the seal has been fitted in right manner or not. The oil will leak if seal has not been fitted properly.

The only reason i can see is that, the battery is not taking all the load with all modifications you have done. Battery has to be charged for full 8 hours to charge itself fully. Get the voltage checked at local battery shop. If it is low, the battery has to be changed. Since the battery is already two years old, get a new one. With reference to my talk with a senior member shv18, he has suggested to go for Amaron MF battery 5 Amp which is gel based. So, no need to check the electrolyte level. 9 Amp will not be able to fit in the alloted battery slot. You will have to do some modifications.

As for the Spark Plug, go for stock one. No gains in installing iridium spark plug, except cold starting.

The bike does run out of power with a pillion while going on inclined road. The best is to lower the gear and accelerate.

Cheerz!!

You have to check for any damage on the forks. If that is fine, you have to check if the seal has been put in right manner or not. The SVC shouldn't charge you for anything if the seal has not been put properly. It is their mistake. How is the seal? One single piece or what? Any snap of seal?

I had got that changed it from a local mechanic.
It was a one piece seal I think.
Wilk get it checked for any leak and get back here.
Thanks a lot.

I am planning to get Philips HID 6000k , But I have heard that without a projector HID is illegal in India..

As far as i searched, there are only Chinese HID along with projectors for bikes of just the HID...
Also I learnt that FZ having DC current wont have problems related to it

Which projector would be compatible with Philips HID
Also the dealer informed me that H6 is best compatible for Bikes, even better than H4

Please guide me on this regard...

An entire day at Panache Marathalli, and all that the bloody assholes did was wash the bike. Made a big fuss with the service manager and a mechanic (poor guy) had to stay till 8pm and do all the work.
He replaced the fork seal, but said that the oil needn't be changed. It can hold upto 500ml oil and he says not much has leaked. Can someone confirm this? Or is he showing his frustration of having been made to stay late :/
Also, he took a short ride and said the cone set may need replacement but will easily last until next service.

HID's under 4300K with Projector is legal in India. For FZ you will have to go for a 35 watt HID bulb and ballast which won't put too much stress on the electricals. If you are interested in reliable HID kits, then you may connect with Navnish, Tourer Gear: https://www.facebook.com/tourergear

His HID kits have quite a reputation in terms of reliability and lifetime which may exceed 3 years, though you will have to get hold of a mechanic who is willing to install the whole set up inside the headlight Dome. You will also have paint the reflector inside the completely black otherwise it will reflect too much and blind the oncoming traffic, a serious NO NO!!

If you are looking for a much cheaper alternative then installing a 60/55 watt H4 bulb from Philips or Osram will cost you approx. 100 bucks and will offer you better illumination than stock bulb.

Hope this helps,

Cheers,
