1. my bike is vibrating a lot...i guess with age ??
2. front shocker...oil was kind of coming out ....what could it imply ?

vibrations can be caused due to a lot of reasons...low tyre pressure...or even due to wearing out of bearings...were the vibes located towards the front end or rear??Originally posted by leadpb View PostGuys.. secondly ur oil seal of the fork is gone ...get it replaced as soon as possible...the leaking oil sometimes leads to the front brake being inoperable which may lead to accidents...sigpicGirls are like roads, more the curves, more the dangerous they are.

Sad to see that nobody except me celebrated last week as fuel conservation week. Anyway I did and I got a mileage of 47kmpl . This is in the busy cities and the tuning was set to give maximum power. ( I asked the SVC ). So some points are
1. After service, unless you ask them, the SVC guys turn the tuning to full power and less mileage. or maximum near to power in fz.
2. So even with full power a mileage of 47 in cities is great
So if I were to tune the bike (myself as I know a thing or two about tuning, I also have a detailed manual on tuning ( in simple steps.)),
If I were to take a long ride on a highway, in economy mode, is there any chance for me to get a mileage of 60 plus?
( I want to be the first fz 16 owner to get a 60 plus mileage. )
I may look weird to you all, trying to squeeze maximum mileage from a performance monster like fz 16, but still I want changes. )
Has anybody tried self tuning before? Also has anyone fitted a kick starter? Please comment on thisReduce 1 km/hr speed, add 1second 2 ur life.

hey i definitely celebrated , my last weeks riding total came up to a mind numbing 14km .
, 7km one way to the petrol bunk and back .
so definitely i have been conserving fuel right , by not using it at all ! , compared to my general 10litres a week .

Hail vinchel. Amazing figures you've posted. I'm still on my half tank. Will update when that completes... Though I'm sure to be in the low 30s...Originally posted by vinchel View PostSad to see that nobody except me celebrated last week as fuel conservation week. FZ accessories
Hey guys. Guess what I stumbled upon. Yamaha accessory list for the FZ. They've got the seat cover and LED lights and stuff. Believe it or not the term for the tank cover is the tank bra. Cant attach the pdf here. Check it out at the below link:
If some one can tell me the price list (very low resolution) that will be helpful.
The daytona performance kit is at:
