i changed to Yamalube Mineral (20w40).. as i used this for the first 18k.. then changed to yamalube SS.. the bike didn't gave any problem till the changed to ss.. so reverted back to mineral to see if its the oil that's giving the problem..
oil should be genuine.. if svc also start selling fake then god knows who will provide genuine products..
According to my experience with Mineral Yamalube (the one for FZ), i have faced some amount of heating problem. Why dont you fill in some other oil (make sure it is genuine) and compare the heating issue. We have to trust the SVC for what they sell and mostly they wont sell any fake products.

      Cheerz!!
The real beauty lies in throttle's twist!!

Headlight can be replaced, Head cannot be. Wear a helmet.

the thing is that i never faced any kind of problem with the oil. that's why i opted for that again.. as for other oils, motul is not available here (if it is, i don't know the shop) had searched for it hard and found one shop and he had only one bottle of 7100 and that was from last year.. used castrol, which sucks big time.. and others i haven't tried..
the genuine thing is the problem..

        Ride safe and have fun.

Talking about the Engine oil brands you get there. AFAIK, Shell oils are available in Jaipur. Also, how is the throttle response of your bike? Any drop in mileage?

apart from baking me legs, the overall performance is really nice.. quick acceleration n all.. the FE has somehow increase a bit.. so thinking lean mixture might be the problem..
ya, shell is available here.. but haven't tried them.. which would you recommend to use apart from Motul in SS ?
