Really nice setup. Was it done by you or by your mechanic. The total cost of conversion.

      • R15 v2.0 hugger: Rs.350/-
Welding and fitting: Rs.200/- (depends on mechanic)
        No need of alteration..
They just make two holes to rear mudguard of fz or fazer.
NOTE: check while installing. Make sure that hugger should not touch the rear suspension.

Installed trumpet horn in my fazer..
In 2 mnths I changed 3 sets of trumpet horns (skoda, volkswagon)
        1. Bosch symphony: Rs.650/-
        2. Hella twintone red: Rs. 750/-
        3. Roots: Rs. 530/-
The best trumpet horn for fz series is Bosch symphony. Coz it is vibration resistant.. where in case wdt other two, you may feel slight vibration at your tighs.. (trumpet horns for fz series bikes are installed in tank panal)
And I noticed that all companies use only minda horns as stock horns.
Fazer twintone horn is not really good, so I bought a new pair of twintone horns which is used for bajaj pulsar 220 and pulsar 180 sounds good to me..
        Nd easy to install.

              • Yamaha Fazer: Rear Mono-shock setting

                Hi All,

I wanted to know whether the rear monoshock can be adjusted in the Yamaha Fazer? If yes, then can someone elaborate simple DIY method if possible. I recently got my bike serviced (4th service) from Naman Yamaha Panvel, Navi Mumbai and since then the ride has been very stiff, with each and every bump and pothole finding its way up. The ride quality was not the same earlier on. Ironically it beats the overall purpose of buying a new bike since my I bought it as I was having back problems from riding my 8 year old Bajaj Discover.

                Thanks to all in advance....

                Ride safe....
                Life is a roadtrip.....

Dude, that's my brand new bike.. every stock horn for 2 wheelers are made by 'Minda'. 70mm dia, 108 decibles, 12 volts.
                  "Then what's the difference?"
220's horns are penetrating, strong sound then compare to fazer's.. and tunes are different..
                  Any problem for you man??
BTW India is not only Mumbai.
Trumpet horns are illegal, I know that.. bt, I don't know, in mumbai 220's horn is also illegal?

Take a hair-drier, blow on the stickers and when they become soft, remove them using a cutter or anything.

I somehow feel some metallic thing is rubbing against something. When you recorded the sound, was the bike stationary or moving?

                                While riding.
in stationary position on the main stand, there is no noise.
I couldn't pin point exactly from where it was coming, but felt like from the rear wheel. Its happening for sometime now. Happens-vanishes and then few days later, starts again. But today it was quite loud.
