    By the way thats petrol.
I would like to know the same. On facebook a lot of people said that they also find fuel on the air-box.
    What causes this?
Ya, I had read the same discussion sometime back on some other thread. But the members said, there should be only a few drops of it, but here it was quite more. And the white thingy in the pic, it was really thick.

    Ride safe and have fun.

The procedure is almost exactly the same on our bikes. Wont be hard to figure out the minor differences.

Thanks a ton Arijitmaniac.really needed it...

      • Adjusting Spark Plug gap

        Hello Everyone,

How to adjust the spark plug gap? Do we require any tools to do it?

        Cheers!

oil deposits in air filter occurs due to excess oil in engine. Its common when u pour oil more than the usual limit. nothing to worry.

              Hey Folks ,
I started facing a new problem today. It wasnt there yest/day before.

I found the bike to be weird while accelerating. As though I'm running out of fuel , but I have half tank's fuel.

I put it on neutral , then gave full raise. I noticed it is not crossing 6k RPM , and jumps to 5500 , then again to 6k , repeating the same thing in a loop. What could it be??

Its a new BIKE , 1300+ KMS. I last filled fuel 200KM's ago.

I'm yet to take it to Yamaha workshop as busy with office in weekdays,

              Please help me out!

Looks like there is something blockig the air flow. Check if there is anything at the air-filter opening.

Hmmm , Let me check , but what was striking was that RPM would'nt go over 6000 , sharp, it wont stay there either , it just falls to 5500 and again goes to 6k Immediately .
I wonder if it could be anything else.
I also place the spare cleaning dirty cloth right below my seat , over the air filter I guess .

Let me check and get back to you.

Get a new fork. Alignment may not be proper. Also, ask your old parts back from them. You're paying for new parts and the SVC must return replaced parts once asked for! BTW, what is air sound jali? Is it the air filter mesh?
                      Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

Its the Net type where leg guard is situated.. Its Plastic type and it looks like Net... or you can see where the stock horn is situated.

And my Right Fork alignment is is tilted.. and how much it will cost.

Do not keep anything above or in a way that hinders the functionality of the air filter, then check your RPM levels and let us know.

See....either there was somethng blocking the air filter inlet. But some times due to cold temperature u feel a sudden drop in acceleration sometimes dats also common. but RPM limited to 6000 is not due to climate. please donot keep any sort of cloth, paper etc near air filter box. it may eventually block the inlet. Also check for tuning screw. It should be atleast 2.5 turns from leanest mixture point.

I looked at the place where I've been placing the cloth , there is a plain thick rubber sheet on removing which we will get access to the air filter as per user manual , so problem in air filter because of this cloth is ruled out I guess .

When riding to office , I wanted to overtake on a bridge upwards , got this feeling of running out of fuel jerk in general and no specefic rpm . Then rode slowly till office and put it on neutral where I found the thing about 6k rpm

This was yesterday , I will have to wait till this happens next time
