      Guys any idea how much the below mentioned parts cost?
      1. Brake Pads
      2. Clutch Cable
      3. Air Filter
      Also I have heard the meshed seat cover is no longer available with the dealers. Can anyone confirm that?

        I din change the chain yet, new one is with me. Changed the brake liner at 16k km. Service guy said chain is gone as it was making occasional clicking noise, but working fine. I booked for chain that time because of this, but the chain is wrkin fyn. So din change and decided to wait and see.

              Suggestions and ideas needed!!!

              hey, all the biker brothers here....i just want to get some suggestions on what and all that i can do with my 1yr old FZ-S (SILVER RED) which has completed 23K kms....i would like to get a FFE installed but i dont know where i would get a good FFE and also i want to do some paint job on my bike to give it a distinct and unique appearance

                contact joel from xbhp for a free flow exhaust for fz....

                for others you can go for the performance exhaust provided by yamaha but that will be very costly

                also you can check out with the editor of bike india
                FZ gets a boost

                  bro i contacted Joel sir and he replied that there aint exhausts for FZ i had placed an order on the DAYTONA kit but then cancelled it...!! now am jus confused on where to get a good ffe will surely check the one that u have suggested thanx bro

                    i hope you know the difference which a FFE can do...

                    the true speed will increase at max by arounf 5-6kmph and the 0-60kmph time will drop by around 1-1.5 secs....

                    although the sound will increase, it is totally subjective whether you like it or not....

                      Yes bro...i know the difference that a FFE can do ....and thats why i would love to get one.....so i just have to contact the given numbers in the link to know about the cost and all uh?? and i really wanted a FFE which wouldn't spoil the look of the bike and the FFE in the link you gave looks pretty fascinating

                          Ok.. My chain (or something else around that area) keeps making a 'clack-clack' sound and I am sick of it. I'll hunt down a pair of sprockets and change it up. If the sound still persists, will get it looked at. 15k on the odo

                            Yep, that clack-clack sound is because your chain is at the end of the adjustment, means your chain is loose.
                            But 15k on the odo means your chain set should be fine for another 10k kms at least! Hard to believe that it is gone this soon!
                            Hmm... ok, try to have a look on your chain and sprockets. Check whether the teeth of the sprockets are bend slightly anti clockwise. And check that it is truly the end of the adjustment too!
                            If the teeth are bend and worn out, and it is really the end of the adjustment, it should change, but this soon..... hard to believe. Even low quality chain sets might last upto 25k
                            Anyway, oil the chain, lubricate it well for the time being!

                                It depends on the amount of wear your tyre has. my rear tyre lasted upto 27000kms without much of a problem and the front tyre is also in a descent condition after 33000kms...
