What I wrote was in context to another discussion about the kill switch.. read a few of the earlier posts by me for context.

EDIT: There's something going on with the console
.. A bunch of bars going from 5.5 to 7 k RPM and the ones going from 8-9k RPM are missing on the tacho, in the speedo - only the last digit is visible, the rest have switched off.. the ODO/TRIP text and a few digits on that meter are also missing. Can this geet rectified or do I have to change out the whole unit? What would be the cost of change / repair? This happened gradually (first the tacho bars were missing, then the speedo digits then the rest.


I was expecting 40-45 KMPL but 35ish is bit disappointment. Using the engine kill switch often could affect the bike's performance? Any other factor I should consider that will affect the bikes performance in mileage and is it ok to rev upto 4k RPM or 65+ KM/HR speed at times or does this affect before the 1st service. I have been advised to maintain below the speed 60KM/HR in first month and/or upto 1000KM.


(In fact FZ rider should not worry about mileage-As you do not ask a girl's age you shouldn't ask FZ's mileage)
