I wanted to ask you what is that ring light on your bike's headlight? What is this thing called? Is it a brand? I have seen a White FZ in B'lore with a similar light and it looks cool.
I would also like to know, will getting a BOSCH or ROOTS double horn harm the battery?
    Thanks a lot :0
the ring light is known as a n Angel Eye.... its not a brand made in china... usually of two type one with LEDs which can be manufactured by anyone How To Create Custom LED Angel Eye Rings

and the other with neon gas in them....

the double horn shouldnt do any harm to the battery...

    • "The blinking last bar is only the second last indication to the end..i mean you can run with the last bar blinking for quite a lot and then the Fuel tank logo will only blink for another few kms and then you will hit reserve.

the R15 is FI ,hence no Fuel knob"

So Ranjith you mean to say it not a faulty console and this is how it works?
If this is it I need not to worry. Thanks a lot for your input.

        • @ Devil n Hellraiser....

Guys...got my servicing done...evrything's fine with my horse...i told the guy who was in-charge of servicing my vehicle about that fuel-knob issue...he checked it(the same way as i did by pulling out the fuel pipe)...no drop came out...told him about the 97km thing(in OFF condition)...he instantly replied Impossible(as expected)...i challenged him...he pulled out that fuel pipe once again and put the fuel knob in OFF position and revved the accelerator...after sometime when he saw that having revved so high also dint make the engine choke...he shifted the gears and revved again...this time also the same thing happened...engine didn't choke...he got a lil bit surprised and said to leave the engine on for 5mins in that condition...even after 5mins the engine was running smoothly and no symptom of choking...he was so surprised that he summoned the service manager and reported the issue...the manager came and did that same revving thing and replied the fuel knob is okay...this should not be a major problem...and told me to run it in off condition until it chokes(dont feed her until she demands)...and calculate the mileage till the next service....

ANY CLUE ABOUT THIS BEHAVIOR(of my horse), FRIENDS???

He will patch it from inside tomorrow. Only temporary fix. Gotta change soon. What all are the other options out there for FZ??? Saw many in communities/forum. Not sure which one to go.

            My requirements :
            Max budget 3k.
            No crappy MRFs.
            Tubeless.
            Hard compound.

I love tubeless, I can get home late safe. Only hate part is 100 bucks for a puncture and difficult to get good puncture repair guys.
My rear tyre is Punctured for the 5th time at same place. I am damn frustrated guys since I have paid almost 400Rs for puncture repair for same puncture. Now the usual puncture repair guys does it for free to me (since it is for the same puncture and I have already paid more than 300 Rs to him).
Just now got it removed from the same guy free of cost. Last time he opened the tyre and patched it from inside but still after 2 days air was coming out of it (it wasnt coming out when I got it done).
Today he just inserted 2 strips of the glue strips (donno what its called ) and seems like air is not coming out right now. But I am damn sure it will after 2 days.

I am really frustrated and most of the puncture guys suggest to put a tube. I guess I dont want to lose the benefits of a tubeless so I am hesitating a bit.

and yea... true about the marginal height increase which is barely noticeable.

but the difference in the performance between the MRFs and the pSD's is undeniable.

Sticks like friggin Velcro!!! which makes it totally worth the shorter mileage.
Hey can you comment on its perf on wet surfaces. Coz to me that is more important.

Pirelli SD 140/70 cost 3600 whereas MRF REVZ 140/60 cost around 3500 at Metro. So only 100 Rs difference. But I guess the performance would be far more better in Pirelli as compared to MRF.

REvz is overpriced. MRP is 2400. Guys here charging upto 2800 saying price gone up because of the shortage. It's not worth paying 2500, so forget it if its 3500.
