    • Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.
    • What do you call a cyclist who doesn't wear a helmet? An organ donor

        Pattern looks good.

Next issue. For getting anything other than crap MRF I have to travel all the way to Cochin around 220 km frm here.

Id suggest you to stick to the MRF's.They are pretty good...in fact ive never had any complaints about its grip.
besides the Pirelli sport demon is 140/70 as opposed to our 140/60
that means the higher profile will increase the height and the rear tire will touch the ground even on center stand
and also the Pirrelis and track based tires which will wear out at least 4-5k kms before the MRF's

          • i've ridden an FZ with the 140x70x17 SD on...

and yea... true about the marginal height increase which is barely noticeable.

but the difference in the performance between the MRFs and the pSD's is undeniable.

Sticks like friggin Velcro!!! which makes it totally worth the shorter mileage.

              • Had a convo with our very own jd666 few months back and these were his points about the effect of having the Pirelli Sports Demon 140/70 on your FZ
it will increase your overall diameter of the rear wheel, so it will increase the top speed and the given speed of the vehicle.

Your meter wont have any error, since it will take the reading from the front wheel.

But if you were doing 60 in 5th at say 5000 rpm, it will/should read 62 or so for the same rpm.

the diameter of the tyre has gone up, so for a given rotation of the wheel, it will cover a longer distance.
no not really, a smaller diameter wheel would have given a loss in mileage, because the engine wouldve run at a higher rpm for a given speed.

This could actually improve your mileage by 3-5%

so that would mean the PSD has some what a better hand over the MRF RevZ??

Feedback about MRF Revz is too bad. Till almost 15k km it was good. After that lots of deep craters over the tyre and its the third puncture in 2.5k km.. susceptibility rate is very high. Dry grip is too bad, fishtailing easily even at slow speeds.

Including ^^dude everybody saying Pirellis and and Duros are lightyears ahead of Revz in terms of handling. My Revz got grip enough to last another 10k km, but two more punctures mean I have to scrap it. I have 5+ friends who clocked ran 35+ km on stock tyres. Since Revz is medium compound it should last at least 25k km comparing to experience with hard compounds.

With 70-profile tyres the issue with rim bending hitting potholes will be no more .

                      Spent whole night yesterday homeworking

                      • Gave tyre for patching. The crack is outside and only a small hole inside. hole closed with normal procedure. Crack will be patched with some vulcanising kinda thing. He got a machine there and he seems an expert in that. Will get it back by evening. searched entire Trivandrum today for alternatives, but nothing more than 120 is in stock. only 140 available was stock Revz. Some chineese brand was there, looked good, but crappy ones. they were available in 160 and 180, but 18 and 16 inchers only. Autoqueen is the only option left, with 220+220km ass-craking ride
