Hi guys
After taking my FZ-S (21k odo; no mods; properly maintained) 5 times for hill ride, what I feel is the UPHILL ACCELERATION is very very low. The pulsar 150 guys are dusting my ride off. While overtaking the cars and buses I feel like I'm riding a 50cc bike. It's like I'm pushing it to go go go go but it replies simply "I can't" even though I'm keeping the rpm at torque band.
I tried with Fazer and it's d same story in hill ride.
While overtaking, I use to downshift if feel there is lack of power (after slowing down) and throttle up crossing torque band until it reaches power band; sometimes it's possible to overtake only in 2nd gear in uphill
But in plains it's different story! There is lack of initial pick up slightly but I can feel the power.
My queries:
1) Is this common in all FZ/Fazers or also in other 150s like pulsar/apache/hunk?
2) Whether my riding style is wrong?
3) Also the engine rpm is rising very slowly even after opening full throttle while uphill and it's rising steeply without even opening the throttle in downhill.
Whats the reason?
Please let me know the proper riding style in hills (uphill and downhill) like where to keep the rpm in torque or power band, when to change gear, gear & throttle changes during overtaking, gear, throttle & braking in hairpin bends, etc
Thanks in advance.

) about?
just wanted a little more grunt from the exhaust...
Rear drum brake has been cleaned, though. Need to meet you, man.I think my ride has lost some of its smoothness, thanks to some changes in clutch settings by the SVC.Not sure, hence need some clarification from you.
but can say one thing I have tried stiff bridges and slopes like that.....never felt that problem..guess you are not keeping your bike on the proper power band...you should keep the rpm in the right range..as far as my knowledge goes...if you keep the needle in 5-7k range for a 20-25degree slope you need to be in 2nd or preciously 3rd gear will do..slope more than that require more rpm and low gear....
. And wheelies are a piece of cake with this beast.
