Don't worry. Change the oil with a new one along with the oil filter.
If you can, also change the air filter if it hasn't been changed before.

      Ride safe and have fun.

How long was that oil used for?

Now you have the bike, get it properly serviced and check the oil level with your riding style. I have observed if we ride at high revs for longer durations, oil level decreases a bit.

          Ride safe and have fun.

105-110 is what most are able to do in favourable conditions. Don't expect more even from a new fz.

Change all the basic things like oil ,air filter , oil filter , front disk pads if they are worn... Also lube &clean the chain with gear oil 90grade. Change spark plug also... And also try changing the clutch cable as it will improve the feedback of clutch..since its a 2009 model..high chances of clutch wire corroded...Also lube all the moving parts... Wheel bearings ,accelerator cable ,etc...

My suggestion is not mess with it if u are not having any problems...cuz its very complicated...even 1/8th turn of that screw can cuz problems...Most of the times even mechanics also refrain from touching that screw...but if u still persist go to service centre and ask dem...most probably theyll do it for free

Have you checked your bike's owner's manual (that came with the bike) ? My advice is to do that as the first step , and very throughly . All this info is given there in details , with illustrations and a full service-intervals chart is usually also provided . Follow those instructions religiously .

In south mumbai at balaram street , Mr. Vishwanath is a good mechanic...only thing is that you have to source the spares & then give him his labour...
