Which is why I thought the bike was elevated and that the acceleration was phenomenal I calculated in youtube. 0-60 in 6 sec and 0-100 in 14 which is normal for a 150cc bike.
Oh and I didnt know it was in Argentina as I saw it from the thread itself and I distinctly heard "Gaadi start" at the beginning of the vid (or did I imagine that too??)

But I kinda still inclined towards fake. Coz at 120+ speeds I wouldnt (or know anyone who would) place his hands on the speedo just to make sure there wasnt a glare on it. Both my hands would be firmly on the handlebars. (I wish it was the right hand on the speedo, we could've settled this once and for all )

If the road is straight it's difficult, but not impossible. Notice also that he takes his hand off to pull the clutch at every shift...

yes thats true we can do that if the road is quite straight and without much traffic and he pulls his hand to clutch
personally i hav always easily reached the 100 mark and after that as i weigh 55 so it gets bit uneasy!

I dont why this is the case... But I think it is achievable easily... Maybe you need to give one more good try...

I've gone to about 127 on a straight highway. And even I know some people who have done even more than that.
I wish if we could have some more horses under the tank. Maybe we could have done 140+...

+1. Same here. 10 kms. 2nd week. I hadnt pulled the choke, some kids in the neighbourhood had. they had also slotted the gear in the 5th. No harm done.

you mean there isnt any error when we do 100?
avg. error compared to a GPS is around 10km for the FZ....i have personally touched 127 on my bike and so have others...this dude gained 10 more kms after a lot of struggling...what so unbelievable?many FZians have crossed 130 btw.
Ranjith so do you really believe FZ can do 130? i have also touched 122 on NH7(which is one of the best roads in india in which you can do any speeds, you know that) for ZMA the top speed is said to be 125, but you know a TVM xbhp member(eshaw) who have done 140 on his speedo at that time i was doing 122 and the result i can't even see that guy many of kms ahead... i never ever believe an FZ can do such speeds... the 127 you have done is not a true 127. the speedo error of both R15 and FZ is more compared to other bikes at high speeds. simple as that... eg:- once i was riding together with my friend who has a pulsar 180. when he came just parallel to me we noticed the speedo readings of both bikes which FZ showed 66 and P180 showed 62. some times i do believe at some speeds FZ is showing speed a little exaggerated. you may say may be my speedo fault, but i have tested with my friends FZ's also. so i personally believe that. every bikes have speedo err. but FZ's a lil more at high speeds...

the quality of paint job is good though and i agree the scheme is better than the old one.
but everyone pls do remember that the spares availability is a pain in the back for the LE's!
I saw this bike on Sunday when I went to book my friends FZ. I asked the dealer about this bike and he told that there will be only 1000 of these. And you woudn't believe the price....he told me it will be around 97K . I was shocked. He told that there will be many modifications pending on the bike such as Clutch level .. etc.

I dont know why Yamaha is following the Hero Honda pattern of change the stickers . And that too at such a huge price.

i never said that's the true speed, all the speeds im referring to are with speedo error...all im saying is ITS totally possible that the video is true and he did 139 with the same speedo error as ours!

see like i said ive done 127...and given a stretch after some time i could have crossed 130 and many have..and its clear from the vid that he struggled a lot after 130!

                      @RAK
yeah only 1000 pieces will be made and its ONLY VISUAL MODS! the only mechanical mod is the addition of the Kicker!and the price is onlt 3-4 more!13 pieces have been sold at my local dealer!

Hey I think that showroom guy would be adding more accessories to it. That might be the reason of the inflated price.

We were about to book a Black-Green FZ-S and saw this one. But were disappointed with the price and booked the FZ-S for my friend.

Yeah maybe he's gonna add all those accessories of the FZ series. But IMHO I think that Black-green is way cooler than the limited editon. I wish I could have that combination for my Fazer.

Seriously speaking I dont prefer Limited editions. Though they are good but in the long run it hits your pocket hard. Unavailability of spares, waiting times etc can be a great problem.
