But after 10kms I drain out the Engine Oil into bottle from local mechanic and filled the Motul 7100 Engine Oil. The mechanic told me you don't need to change the Oil filter as it is new, so I guess oil is consumed by the Oil filter.

Since you have changed the engine oil & oil filter together and you have poured Yamalube which is 1L. But, the engine requires 1.2L when changing the oil filter. So, the engine has 1L oil and not 1.2L oil in it. That is why you could see some difference in oil level on the dipstick.

Check the oil level again after covering about 100-150kms. This will give you an idea if anything is wrong or not (mostly nothing to worry).

But I drain out the yamaha Lube after the running 10 kms and poured Motul 7100 20w50... But anyway Level is above minmum and also Motul7100 have some left oil in bottle around 150ml.
I will check on it as per you told me.

        Guys,
My cat-con is heating up really bad. It's becoming so hot that I can feel the heat on my feet. It never used to get so hot. And this is with a very small amount of running. Any idea what could be the reason?

Are you running a very lean mixture ? Can explain the over heating.

I had similar experience with Motul 5100 15W50 oil. The engine wasn't heating up that much as compared to the cat-con. I changed the oil and everything was normal.

How is the pick up? Idle RPM? Fuel Efficiency? Throttle response?

Will check the air-filter and clean it.
What should I be looking for in the clutch-plates? Wear?
                Can worn plates cause this?

I had suspected this. I checked my spark-plug (NGK G-Power) and there are no white deposits. The plug is brownish-black. And the tip is clean with no oily deposits anywhere on the plug.
I can post a pic once I reach home.

In any case the engine doesn't feel to be overheating. Engine is fine. Only the muffler area feels like hovering your hand over a frying pan

                Cheers!!

Naah. Bad clutch plates would cause engine over heat too. Check if something is stuffed into the exhaust.

                    Right now on Motul 300v 15w 50.
But i'm on this oil for almost 2 months now. But this seems to be a recent problem. I'm only noticing it since 2-3 weeks maybe.

                    Pick-up: Didnt notice any difference.
Idle RPM: 1.4-1.6k once warmed up.
                    Fuel-efficiency: 32-36kmpl in city.
Throttle response: Seems okay. No other bike to compare against.

My bike is having a problem. Its been 3 times now in 2 days. The engine shuts off on its own while riding. don't know why.
This morning, I was going at around 60-65 km/h and the engine just shut off and was not responding. So stopped and tried to kick, self..but to no use. Then I pushed the kill switch a couple of times and it started. Same happened yesterday also.
Is the kill switch causing this problem ?

                      Ride safe and have fun.

Yes.....seems your kill switch has some carbon deposits .....spray some zorrik in it ....it will work fine.

It is definitely it is the kill switch. Just open the assembly and remove the switch. Clean it with a clean cloth. then spray some WD40. Let it dry and then clean with a dry cloth. before assembling back start the bike and kill it with the kill switch. Do this a few time to see whether it works perfectly. The it is happy riding.

Actually I don't know how to open the switch.
Will try tomorrow and hopefully would be able to open it.
