So used to it that when I ride a normal bike, I feel one arm needs more stretching than the other. Lol.

Anyways, my odo reading has crossed 24000 now. Had replaced the chain-sprocket-set at 20k. Thinking of changing the tyres before the monsoon begins. The front tyre still seems to be in good shape. The treads are still easily visible and the grooves look deep enough. Doesn't look like it has run 24k KMs. Could run another 10-15k by my guess.

The rear tyre has shown some wear. Treads are still visible, but the grooves not as much as the front. Looks like it could run another 5-10k but it has been skidding lately when it hits water. Had a pretty scary experience at a ghat section when the rear skidded at a curve where there was some water on the road coming from a stream. With the rains coming I don't want to risk that happening again.

Anyways, what are my options? Hear nobody is going for the stock MRFs.
Anything apart from the pirellis? How are they in wet conditions? How much do they cost? Where can I get them in bangalore?
Heard the newer mrf revz are good, other options are there 140/70 in Dunlop,Michellin,Euro etc heard ralco has also launched it line of motorcycle tyres you can check them as well.

        RAM AIR effect on FZ16

Finally i am hear to share the result of Ram air intake effect on fz-s i removed 33Dia circular plastic piece from the air filter cover and inserted 1 1" plastic pipes to flywheel side of my Engine & placed a diffuser ( higher to lower cross section pipe) and everything is sealed with help of Teflon & packing tape . i observed engine sounds different even the performance too i observed little effect of fast moving air i think i got induced pressure between 0.1 to 0.05 bar but main disadvantage is filter element is at more risk & knocking sound from engine indicating drastic pressure change in intake when bike decelerates . So i removed the setup & closed the filter opening

The prices have been slashed recently.

In my post some months back I have calculated various sidewall heights and found 120/70 and 150/60 to be the best fit for fz apart from 140/60 which is stock.

Revz M is also 140/60. I dont think yamaha will take chances with replacing it with 140/70 as these come cheap and mrf developed the 140/60 just for this motorbike. If it is indeed 140/70 the front one would also change.

This was feedback driven improvement.. it would be better in at least some aspects.

Guys, a question. Has anyone tried a wider front tire. Mine is rubbing faster than the rear.

Please tell me the price of rear view mirror of FZ16. My bike tilted at left due to slip of side stand and just touched wall at left, but to my surprise 4-5 cracks came out on the mirror. Truly shocking because the mirror has not bumped at the wall at such a pace. What ever need to change the left side mirror. Only one is available?
