) and moreover you could get it repainted in black or something (if you want to that is
)..
if you still insist on changing the cover it will cost you around 250 but repainting it will cost you 150 max..signature not found..

also use bungee nets and cords for other luggage on the back of the bike(i dont think a tank bag will be enuf to take care of ur luggage) but using the same precautions as earlier....

The service station people are right about the chain as long as you don't use a pressure washer directly on the chain. If you do see any signs of rust on the chain, it means that it is dry and needs to be cleaned and lubricated.Originally posted by bikerfas View PostGuyz, am having a rust problem in my bike.

The front brake disc is stainless steel and will not rust. What you may be seeing is dust from the brake pads. You can easily clean this with soap and water. Use a soft paint brush if required.

Storing away precautions
Hi Guys ,
Am about to store away my bike for > 2 Months.. Any precautions that I should take...
Also planning to empty the petrol tank and not leaving any petrol in the carburetor as well... Is that Fine ?? or should I keep the petrol.. ??
Also.. How do I remove the side panel and Unplug the battery connections.. ??

remove all petrol from the tank...unplug the battery as shown in the manual...store the bike in a dry place so that it does not get wet due to morning dew...oil the uncovered metal if u can so as to prevent rust...
if u can ...just give ur bike to a responsible frnd who can take care of it for the interval...that wud be much better....sigpicGirls are like roads, more the curves, more the dangerous they are.

^^ on the contrary , while storing i've read right here on xbhp that it is advisable to fill the tank up before storing , to prevent it from rusting . And too also few drops of engine oil through the spark plug hole and turn the engine over , so that it remains well lubricated... but i'm not sure if it is necessary for a two month storage interval ...People ask me , why are you cribbing about the BHP ? to them I say "MORE is never ENOUGH" xbhp.com
