    1. the bike was making vibs but rectified by svc guy but still a little bit and huge at 4-5k rpm mark

    2. After long ride say about 10-20 km regularly the bike is felt to be more a 125cc like

    3. The rear drum is making remarkable noise while applying at slow speed of 20-30 km/h.

    Guys please help !!!!!!1
the vibes around 60-65kmph are quite normal...its not the ideal speed for the bike...rev more on the 4th gear and let the speed pass 60 kmph mark ...shift after that and then feel the vibes....
rear drum brakes making noise na...even i am facing that prblm....oil the lever and the actual brake ...the noise is most prominent after a wet spell...let the water evaporate....

dont understand ur 2nd query?? wat do u mean by bike feels like a 125cc ???

To ride or not to ride?? is a....

    • Guys.. just wondering, at what RPM do you normally change gear?? I mean normally, not when dragging or something.. like that.

Just wondering, coz of above post. 60KMPH at 4th gear would be like 5-6K RPM in my Fuzzy.

well ideally shift up at 4.5k to 5k rpm and shift down at 2.5k...

        • Yep.. thats what I do...and usually down shift only on braking....!! or when I hear some amount of knocking...
Then 60KMPH on 4th will not come into this transition right..just confirming!!

actually 60kmph will require 6000 rpms ....was suggesting it to him as he was facing vibes around 60kmph...by doing so ...he will upshift at 60 odd instead of accelerating the 5th cog at that speed....

check the service manual ....there is a neat little demographic saying wat needs to be replaced when at stuff like dat...btw i think its 10000kms for the air filter....

no ideas about the k and N filter

                  • ^^ if u mean the pull of the bike decreases than u need to get the bike checked....may be the feed is lean...maybe u need to pass a richer feed ...
