ok. got the point. Teflon coating is just for bringing back the shine on the machine...Originally posted by sudhakargurram View PostTo be frank for a new bike you won't find much difference.. if your bike is Old , have teflon coated and you will see the difference.

but can it not be done by the usual shining techniques like using waxpol or F1 shining wax?

For bringing back&also protecting for a long period. Yes, other waxes would also give a similar effect, but they get worn off when the bike is washed or within a few days. Teflon has a higher quality, hence stays for a few months.Originally posted by ayushkant View Postok. got the point. Teflon coating is just for bringing back the shine on the machine...

About the minor scratches&swirl marks, it goes by buffing (the round feather type of machine). It can be done with normal polish too.
The teflon guys in addition to using these high quality products, use different products for vinyl, leather, rubber (tyres), chrome etc. thereby maintaining the finish of these for a longer duration. If done once in 6 months, it can maintain the bike shine for years.
Hope you got the point.Quench my thirst with gasoline!

Disgusting!Originally posted by Mindgrinder View Postbhai logo, emergency, disaster recovery, i took off (i mean stopped nitrogen due to accessibility) from nitrogen and i got rewarded with a puncture @#$! i went to MRF exclusive in Koramangala and that guy did normal repair for tubeless tire?! i asked him about Mushroom puncture he said he has no idea !!!! So i got done normal one due to no resort.
So any drawbacks and where in bangalore i can go and ask for mushroom type fix! can it be undone for this?
I dn have words to describe this, If MRF people dont have a Mushroom puncture fix mechanism, i am sure no 1 else will.
MRF people are BOUND to do a mushroom fix mate!(as per my discussion with MRF India Manager Mr Abrahim).SAVE TIME....SEE IT MY WAY

Well, as per my earlier posts.. routine stem puncture repair is NOT a permanent method of fixing a puncture.. u can no doubt continue with it.. but get a Mushroom punctured fix done as soon as u find a suitable place.SAVE TIME....SEE IT MY WAY

@ayushkant
hey just make sure the guys doing the teflon,no matter if its a SVC or anything,are using the TEFLON by DuPont(check the bottle).
they can jst do a normal wax polish and charge you for a Teflon coat!Smoke rubber,not tobacco.

I told that guy about mushroom fix but he said we are MRF exclusive and we do not know anything like that? I had no options. Do you have any contact details for Mr. Abrahim?Originally posted by avneetrekhi20 View PostDisgusting!
