Yellow strips will luk good only with the new yellow FZS but if the bike is completely black, then I've a dilemma to chose the color

I'm still not sure which one to go with. Has anyone got it done on black FZ-16? Can anyone post d pics?

If for the whole bike 3K, partial 2K. They will quote higher but you need to bargain.
I still think red rim strips look best for your bike. Black&red go well in combo.

          Hi,

The white paint job on tires look pretty good and gives a more sporty look to the bike...
Can u tell me how it was done and the cost?
BTW, white strips look good and it'll also blend with black FZ...

Oh! I was thinking you have a red FZ! Anyways, if it is black then white rim stripes will look best with it!
As for the painting, Yam SVC won't do it, you need to check outside.

It will not increase performance, but it will surely improve cold start-ups&give you more even firing. You can check if there are any plugs available in NGK/Denso, Iridium is the highest quality. I am using it on my older bike&going to plonk in soon on my R15 too. These plugs last around 3 times more than conventional ones, since they have a self cleaning mechanism, a chamber where the carbon gets deposited.
Please check the FAQs section in this site: www.ngkntk.in
Use the partfinder to know if it is available for your FZ.

                        • hii

                          Hii to all!!

Done 2300 Kms on my fzs till date but something is wrong with the bike after second service

Its not feeling the same old smooth fz as it was earlier as now there is some roughness......dunno why I don't feel like pushing it....would be checking the average soon as it had dropped below 40 after first service.......but why the roughness now is something I can't understand..........

also I would like to ask that the total service costs till date have been 616 Rs. till date 300 for first service 316 for second then what's the free service for????

also has everyone checked out the awesome blue and white combo color of the new fz?? it looks really good isn't it??

I told you to go through the FAQs section of the site, you will understand how efficient the sparking&anti-fouling is. I believe for our bikes we should go with the best.
After paying that much you can only expect some gain, not loss! Stock plug is also NGK, but conventional type, please read the site, it will tell you about the materials used in the tip etc.etc.that make it superior compared to conventional plugs.
I think your manual will recommend you to change the plug at 10/12K kms.so it may be time to go for a better one!
Check the dealers in your city. I got it from an old dealer at Rs.475.

                              • RPM stuck @ 3K

                                Hi Guys,

Today I was riding in the city and suddenly it started raining very heavily. I didn't stopped anywhere for rain to stop as I was in hurry. After 15-20min ride what happen the RPM got stuck at 3K, even i was not accelerating it. I can drive in 2nd gear without accelerating it as it got stuck at 3K.

But after 3hrs stoppage when I started the bike then it went to normal without doing anything, just a 3 hr rest to bike.

Is there any problem with any component or anything else, need help guys. What can I do so that it wouldn't happen again.

Just to add ODO is 700 only.
