Thanks bro. Well, the bolt is really adamant to open up. Looks like i have to go to the SVC and seek their help.

Don't force open the drain bolt, get it opened at the SVC or local mech.u can try keeping a cloth in between, maybe the oil is making it slip

Jump to 4.00 minutes in this video to see how it opens..

if it is slipping, try putting a cloth in between.

SVC wont do anything special what you cant do!! Take up the task.. going to svc is easy. Go there if you break the bolt!!

                It's costs around 1700 bucks.

But the misfire happens only when I rev hard, and leave the throttle suddenly. Though it is not loud, but I can listen it coming from the silencer. I replaced my plug with a NGK G-Power 2k km back and the Airfilter was replaced during 12K. Spark plug also in good condition. Last service was done on week ago at my local shop & in front of me. There is no other problem in my ride, the engine is also smooth like before, the mileage is also close to 32-35 kmpl. What could be the cause?

Check the carburetor, all fuel connections and then the Air Induction System or the AIS.. Chances are the valves may have gotten stuck which is not allowing the exhaust gases to be fed in with fresh air via AIS. This is done to burn off any additional unburnt fuel to reduce Emission. Besides these two, check if the air filter has been installed properly and nothing is blocking the intake port.

Is it advisable to fill premium petrol for a long ride at top speed? Or does it really matter? Fresh oil will be filled for sure.

                        Damn!!
My Yamaha FZ-s rear tyre got badly punctured today.
Somehow got a mechanic, after analyzing it we found that the nail has bent in L shape and punctured the side too.
Only option he said was to make it a tube tyre and in desperation I just did what he told.

Now it's there a major disadvantage of that.
What should I do.. Should I buy a new tyre.
How much will the stock rear tyre cost and from where can I get it in Bangalore??

Will the service center do it , any idea?

And the tyres are in good condition only..3k km only...
Will they also buy my defective one for a price?

Not really. Had filled in Speed once and never felt any change in the ride.

Tube tyre is a major disadvantage...get it changed and yes,the tyre seller would surely give some discount if u exchange the old one. They would hardly charge u 50 bucks for fitting tyre,no need to visit service centre.

The rear mudguard (outer part) maybe loose. Try gently hitting the mudguard by hand, you might get a sound. Else check the toolbox being in place under the seat. Rear monoshock suspension is the last thing to go wrong.
