From which end does it start snapping off? There must be some tell-tale symptoms that show that the cable is about to snap, right?

So if the threads are a lil too much bald then get it changed before the monsoons.
The tyre has life left in it
Tested it just now. Even asked few Fz owners, they said, the tyre starts loosing grip in around 25-26k kms at normal riding.
      Will change after 5k kms.
I feel it will perform well till 5k-6k kms more.

        ohkk.. thanks for the knowledge..
i was talking about the original fz accessory.. the latter idea is much better

          To check the cable.
Take of the rubber flap near the lever as you adjust the free play, check the wire out here and the bare wire on the other end, they should look fine.
In my experience, um, I have never experienced a broken clutch cable.

Minimum tread depth is 2mm . Less than that is illegal to ride . So replace when it goes below 4mm , to be on the safe side .

illegal or not.. but why take chances..
better be on the safe side, than risking our lives with bald tyres..
change when you feel loss in the grip..

Oh thanx for the Info. I have tested the tyre 3-4 times even on a wet surface, found it to be decent enough.

                          Hi Riders!

I have a doubt.... Do the Oil Strainer needs to be replaced after every 3k kms?

Yes. Its Better if changed at every 3k kms.

Thanks Touseef Bhai... Actually Y'day I did the first servicing of my FZ. SVC ppl changed the oil filter which was of Lumax brand. it was much lighter than the one which was fitted earlier. it was 'Purolator' over it.
I am unsure whether is it a good enough quality!!

Yes , there is , and traffic cops can hold you for it (seen that) . I'm not a lawyer , but it must be part of the motor vehicles act by my commonsense . AFAIK it's 2mm depth measured at the most worn part of the tyre . Sorry for late reply .
