A li'l bit of water, you will be going straight in corners. Even CBR owner's very displeased with it. I had it on front, threw it away and bought Pirelli.

          • Guys, what is the make of CBR's Stock and what is the price? This may help us understand where it stands in the priority list.

            • The WORST tyres i ever experienced were, EUROGRIP. Which come with some Pulsar 150cc.
              ZERO grip on wet surfaces.

It's Metro Continental's ContiGO! Price was 1950 for front and 3300 for rear 2 year back when I bought my front.

One with good reviews is Dunlop Tuffgrip, costs 2.8-3.2k. Bridgrestone, Ralco and Birla are about to launch 140/70s, Pirelli rumored to come back with 140.

                    • In all, the cost of most of the rear tyres from Stock to Dunlop to Contigo to Mrf Zapper are in the range of 3000-3500. Pirelli would be 5000? if you can source one. Or the supplies are available now?

Dunlop Tuffgrip is hard compound i suppose, Pirelli even though it has excellent grip is it not also puncture prone like stock ?

Also since you are from Hyderabad, and as i am new to hyderabad, which is the place i should go to hunt for tyres any road or place?

                          • Welcome to Hyd.. But this is a place where for an oil filter you would have to visit 4-5 SVCs, and if you are unlucky like me! you would come empty handed still!. I am yet to visit some tyre shops here. Completed 3 years only in hyderabad. Shoeb2015 may guide you better!!

@shamanthnv - Have you brought your bike here? Road tax slueths will be looking for you!

I haven't paid road tax yet, went to pay road tax, but they want address proof, and they don't accept house rent agreement and all. So have to wait till i get some address proof.

I think i got the address where i can get Dunlop TG http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/help-me/...tml#post916550

The problem was that I had asked for an opinion from a local mechie..he said all the clutch damage & everything to scare me and maybe shell out some bucks for the job.the clutch had to be adjusted, otherwise the gearshifts were very clunky.
