      Hi Deville,
The manual specifically mentions that (at least in 2010 edition page 6-9). And it's not 1.1L but 1.2L, check the below attachment.

Also every time when I change the Oil Filter at the time of oil change I add extra ~100ml oil, even though I dip the new filter in the oil & I'm sure, because I had to buy 2 cans of 300v.

      Hi Rylan,
      It doesn't work like that.
After filling the oil, you have to run the engine in idle mode for 5-10 mins, switch it off, wait for 2-3 minutes & check the oil level again. Check below attachment.Click image for larger version

Do we all really follow this, I don't myself but I definitely know how to ride the bike sensibly.
Take for example the engine break in. Why do all the companies recommend a conservative breakin period. It's to save their own a** in case anything goes wrong.
All I know is this puny engine needs a litre of oil for optimum functioning.
              To each his own

Paint quality is an issue on this bike! The frame painting is correct, but all the accessories must have come from some "supplier" who did a very lousy job as far as paint is concerned. A very bad mark for Yamaha Inia on that matter! Specially on your Fazer, all the front fairing supports are bound to rust quickly....but nothing beats the speed at which the center stand, hit by gravel and sand, gets rusted. I had mine re=coated as soon as the first nasty signs appeared, not with super-high-teck powder coating, but by basic car painting shop. Not a sign of rust anymore since.
I cannot seak about warranty, but very much doubt they will accept it. Worth a mail to the headquarters, though and I would even suggest that all the FZ 16 owners here join (at least indicate that they are suffering unacceptable rust issues, specially on this center stand. Giving the link to the headquarters may force this supplier to do a better job for future bikes!
The meaner but stronger way would be a joint action!
When I do something stupid, my consolation is to know that I'll do the worse one only once!

At 20,000 kms one should ideally opt for preventive maintenance. I have written about this many pages ago which should be easy for you to find.

Swing arm needs an overhaul, front shocks need to be checked for any weakness in any of the sides, checking for rust formations, battery top up, checking the health of the chain and sprockets, air induction system and the tank and the fuel lines for any formation of gum and dirt which may block it in future etc.

If you follow a preventive maintenance then you need not worry about her for the next 20k in terms of mechanical headache besides the regular consumables.

                    Cheers,

                        • Guys, Which are the popular Tyres now for FZ Rear? I want to get rid of the stock tyre which is puncture magnet. I think i should look for medium or hard compound.

Dunlop tuffgrip is an option. I see a lot of FZ with this one now a days.

Get CBR 250R's continental tyre fitted.
                              It serves well.
