Actually Both Vinoob and Ranjith suggest that they have been to middle east for a good bit!Originally posted by Sarvajit View PostThey will understand when they visit some foreign country&will be wondering why they didn't hear anyone honking at all!
Nothing personal against you guys, but I just hate mad a55 honkers...
I have had stock horns on all my bikes, I find the RTRs horn too loud and my R15 horns to mellow but enough! but then the fact remains that I hardly honk!Super CommuTOURer - Talk less, Ride more

thanks satyenpoojary!Originally posted by satyenpoojary View PostI dont think there is a legit "Online" spares supplier in India (I may be wrong though) but I can hook you up with someone who can send you all the stuff you need. What all do you need?
for starters i think i will need the things needed for servicing like oil filters 3-6pcs. i saw in one of the threads some LED signal light (front and rear, brake light too) that will be interesting. send me a private mail how to go about purchasing and shipping here.
there is also an engine belly that i saw in ebay india that i really like . unfortunately they dont ship internationally. fedex price is too expensive for an item that is less than US$15 in value. plan to get one.

If you are talking about the DNOVO engine belly, then avoid it....!
I have seen it on a bike and it looks hideous!Super CommuTOURer - Talk less, Ride more

really dude what u said is right..i have never heard any bikes blowing their horn till date..hav seen lot of superbikes over here. But one thing u shud consider, abroad traffic rules r not lik indian rules.people just follow the rules, thy just turn their vehicle with their indicators on frm one track to the other.no rash driving is allowed, speed limits r there. But in india its entirely different, that makes people use bigger horns.i know it makes people go mad to itOriginally posted by Sarvajit View PostThey will understand when they visit some foreign country&will be wondering why they didn't hear anyone honking at all!

true.Originally posted by satyenpoojary View PostHorns are meant to warn people, not scare them.... sorry to say but I find it pretty girlish of people plonking in jazzy horns
Actually 'poser' is the word but then that would be too rude !
i was obviously exaggerating a bit!all i meant is the Horn is very effective and actually makes the vehicles and ppl respond.besides,i don't misuse the horn.
PS.when there are ppl who would only walk in the middle of the road, and give way only when we have come to a halt,i think they deserve to be scared!

Is the profile of the front 100-80 tyre very roundish and makes it easier to lean in the corners?sigpicThe Moto Cafe - India's first bike theme cafe @ Chandni Chowk

Yes there are silent ways for scaring them too... pop a wheelie, wave at them with both your hands.... perform a christ! easy, scary and nice and silent!Originally posted by RanjithMN View Posttrue.
