Hey @3Kings congrats on your steed. The bike is looking really nice. Happy riding in Manilla.
@Satyenpoojary - About using the horn bro under indian conditions there is no way I can do without a loud horn imagine you are in a crowded indian lane with the cows and people and rickshaws and everything and there is this Cow that has not taken notice of you and you dont have space to wind your way out what do you do? Cant fly outta there with a wheelie can you? or hope to do a Jesus Christ pose!!

No offense taken either
I also ride on similar roads sir, somehow people respond to the sight and flashing headlights and a decent horn probably with the same zeal as they do to an ultra loud horn (minus the abuses and inconvenience that the later gets)

I totally agree with you on being responsible about using horns but in some situations flashing lights just does not get you the attention that you absoulutely need in a critical moment a good strong horn is surelly a useful weapon in an Indian bikers arsenal.Originally posted by satyenpoojary View PostI also ride on similar roads sir, somehow people respond to the sight and flashing headlights and a decent horn probably with the same zeal as they do to an ultra loud horn (minus the abuses and inconvenience that the later gets)
Hehehehe! I ve always fantasised about having a pair of rocket launchers fitted just below the indicators a la Delta force style, it would be awesome. lol! since i only used one horn(which is more than enough) no wiring was needed...only extended the wire so that i could place it farther away.Originally posted by anirudh fz1 View Postcan u guys plz tell me if the wiring has been changed or are u using the same wire for both the horns .

To buy or not to buy is the question
Hi guys,
I am new to this forum so bear with me if I am wrong with any protocol.
I want to buy a FZ16 but I have 2 very important questions:
1.What is the realistic mileage I should expect?(Have gotten mentions from 28 to 55 kmpl on various websites blogs etc)(assume driving style as ideal)
2.I want to buy a bike that is relatively maintainance free since I am quite busy and dont have time to sit and get things fixed from the SVC or the local mechanic.
also 3rd and less important question is if any one here has experienced the service center in Vashi or Koperkhairane rather for alka yamaha.I have heard that the local SVC are pretty bad in service to customers.
Thnx in advance
sigpicGirls are like roads, more the curves, more the dangerous they are.
To ride or not to ride?? is a....
very very stupid question....
