The next moment when I started the bike there was nothing on the tachometer, it was totally dead & not even the neutral light was glowing when I shifted back to neutral & neither ther warning light was glowing after I switched off the engine kill switch. But other electricals (which includes head/tail light, horn & self starter motor) were working fine including the new LED light stickers I recently put myself. And after switching off the ignition key OFF & ON once again everything was normal again.
What may be the reason for it & how can it be resolved ???
It happened with me two times in these two years of ownership. The key does not lodge completely, once you turn off and turn on everything returns to normal.

If its happening frequently than may be a concern.

Bro, i would suggest you not to ride with this tyre. You might have to face fatal consequences (my own exp).

This has happened either cuz of rash driving or driving on improper roads (with too many gravels).

As others have mentioned, incase you can get it replaced under warranty, its well and good.

      Cheerz!!

I don't think u would be eligible for the warranty..
the bike comes with a one year warranty..
that means u would have to change the tyre on your own expense..
still, first check with the svc guys for the claim..

I wouldnt complaint if it was something near 30+ mark with good pickup. The ride is pretty sluggish and pull that used to be there in intial gears is missing.

The bike 22K on the odo last service was done on 20k and piston and rings set was changed during the service. 1000KM back changed the rear tire to tuffgrip

What could be the problem , what are the diagonistics to be done?
You have said, you replaced the piston and its rings at 20k. Did you rebore the cylinder? Were the piston and rings installed properly?

Also, are you facing this issue since the time you have changed the piston and rings, or experiencing it lately?

Check for the alignment of the rear tyre.

          Cheerz!!

The problem creeped up only couple of days back , didnt face them till then. The bike now struggles to go behind the 100k mark.

I'll check with the SVC soon.

If I have no choice other than to buy a new one then which tyre would you guys recommend?

That portion of the tyre has got cracked walls...maybe did u try to do a fishtail with the rear brakes locked/parked the bike unknowingly on a very hot surface? I had seen this recently on an indica we had rented during a tour.didnt ask the driver,as it was a bump on the side of the tyre, that dint come in contact with the road. Anyways, get it changed asap and u won't be getting warranty on it,so no use trying. Try some hard compound rubber which would save u from the frequent punctures, though u would get less sticky tyres.

U might get locally made led markers..but dont think they would last long.no guarantee u see? The circled part is called Belly Pan..the Apache's part fits better than stunner IMO. The colour would never match since producers are different.so get it painted locally.

I guess, there is some issue with the rear wheel alignment. Is the tyre size perfect or have you fixed any bigger tyre??

Do you feel any power loss?? Any heaviness while riding??

I don't have much knowledge about the tyres, i still have the stock one on mine..
MRF Zapper's are a good choice.. And also check Dunlop tyres..
other members might be able to give a better recomendation..

Is the Apache's engine cowl direct fit or we have to make necessary alterations to it..??

Hard compound tyres don't have good wet grip right? I want something which will be less prone to punctures and be sticky with wet grip as well.

You should try Dunlop Tuff Grip 140/70 17.. Its a soft compound tyre.. Would ive u better grip on the road..
also go to the market and see which u can get..
