    as I have not done any mod to my bike yet, so just going ahead with the simple spark plug mod. lets see what happens, at least nothing bad will come out.

    1 question, what the price of Iridium spark plug? will it be good if I buy online from PlanetDSG? Rs 550 there.

            U would have to open the speedo console and change the LED lights with the new ones of ur choice. Be sure to install a transistor so that the light glows when the self check is done.do this if and only if ur sure about the mechanic's work.else u might end up with a dead speedo!

                Obviously the warranty on d speedo will get void.the bike is almost 2 yrs old now,so no warranty issues anyways.yes,its done from Barasat.

                  I left my Fazer idle for 2 weeks and when I try to start today morning, it was not starting.

                  I tried for 2 minute and left it and took public transport, any suggestions what I can do further ?

                  My Fazer has no Kicker only electric start, when I push the button I get usual start up sound but engine didnt.

                    Is the engine cranking?? If not then battery is probably dead. You need to get it charged up.
                    If the engine cranks but doesn't start then it looks like a fuel line issue. There might be something blocking your fuel lines.
                    Also you might want to check your spark plug for any electrical issues there.

                      Try giving choke and start it up.

                      Also, dont over burden the battery by giving too much of self. The battery might go kaput!!

                      Also, my suggestion is, remove the spark plug and blow it with air, incase any water or soot is accumulated on it.

                          Fazer self start issue

                          I have an YAMAHA FAZER ,but for quite while the bike has a starting trouble i.e when I push the self start there is
                          no response.Even thought I got a dying battery ,it should put show some crank sound or the cranking should cause all the light on the console to go out due to
                          the weakness of the battery.But nothing there is not even a single sound or vibration.

                            Hi Speedykol,

                            I've been looking for this MOd for a long time as my bike is White one. I'm more of a DIY guy.
                            So , if possible can u ask your friend for more details regarding this mod like the led circuit on PCB and wiring
                            Definitely some more pics would help..

                              Some idiot stole my Yamaha logo on the air scoop. Even if i get another logo sticker,that too will be eventually gone as it is easy to take out.
                              So decided to make my own logo ...

                                The piston and ring set was completely changed along with the cylinder , I have to recheck this will the service bill to be sure. The service enginer said he had to wait for a cylinder part to arrive from Yamaha to fix the bike.

                                I didnt feel the power loss while throttling earlier but now I do it started happening suddenly may be its because I have already run 2500kms on the yamalube mineral oil, could this be the issue.
