  • Also, for subsequent services with the new plug, are there any special instructions to be given for cleaning. I think they use an abrasive sand paper to clean the terminals.... since the G power has fine tipped terminal, they can damage it in the process.....

They are not using sand paper for cleaning, instead of that there is machine, dont know what they called... in that sand will rotate forcefully to clean the spark plug..

Will that process damage the plug?

i understand that most stock plugs have a flat tipped terminal.

The bike is light weight, has good suspension and stabililty and gives you a hell of a confidence to take on the busy cities. My only concern is the mileage. If all these features were to give an assured mileage of 50 plus, it would be the perfect bike. I am getting 45-48 average. The maximum is 54. My opinion on ur issues would be.

                1. The rear disc brake. When I brake, I use the front and back simultaneously and the bike stops wherever I want to. So I haven't felt the need.
                2. Cooling is an issue. The advantage of oil or liquid cooling comes at much more performance bikes and would be better.
                3. Seating comfort is great for the rider and for the rider only. For the pillion it is uncomfortable.
                4. The 6th gear is an essentiallity for cruising purposes. There is the need when you are moving at a constant speed on highways.
Lucky you that u get a good mileage.... I bought the bike recently n it has done 5000kms n i guess mileage is less than 40 and spark plug is new yet black now... dont know why.

20W40 is what is recommended, ive been using 20W50 due to lack of availability for around 300kms,no issues but best is to stick to the recommended grade!
as far as i know, not sure though, the "20" can be be anything else but the "40" shudnt!

Anyhow, even the perfect guys are not that great, but still way better than Orion guys. Anybody on feedback about Panache ?? I heard even the Bangalore Wheels is crowded too. I have done 7 services, plus extra 2 services....and my bike does not feel any good... even I would not mind trying a local service place
no, i service my bike at Panache on Old Madras Road as it is nearer to my office and hence easier for me to drop and pick up.

A black spark plug means it is coated with soot or unburnt carbon. This means that the engine is running a very rich mixture. This also means that fuel is being wasted. The carburettor will have to be adjusted.

As someone duly pointed out bangalore wheels is too crowded.. let me give you an example as to how crowded it is.. all the bikes are parked outside with the front tyre lined up against a wall on their centre stand ofcourse and they are placed so close to each other that you have to literally lift the bike up so that the bike comes off the centre stand..

but apart from this i dont see anything wrong with them..
