  • Too bright????

Too bright eh.....what about em idiots in Range roomies and Beamers hitting em in my eyes.

Half the streets in pune dont have street lamps. (But lets just not get all poiliticalled up)

I'll try and get em installed....see if em cops wanna complain.

Thanks though for the early warning

Also sent a PM to Joel...but guess he is a bit busy. I wanted to start with the air filters first though. Also see if they can be direct ported...not sure it works the same way as cars

Is it normal or do I just look like a naive idiot to them guys.

I mean my bike is perfect...just getting the 5th service as book says it should
Chain lube has gone up recently. They are charging 200 here in bombay. Better to buy your own can and do it yourself. 475 for oil means they are putting in SS (Semi-Synthetic) or FS (Full-Synthetic) oil. I usually put mineral oil which is around 350-375; but they say SS or FS is recommended once you've crossed 3K/5K respectively. You can ask them which oil they are putting.

Its the SS I'm not really sure if we need to put a FS in our bikes.

                      • How to slow down

while riding on when the signal in front shows red
i release my throttle and let the bike move on the momentum
but i have noticed that when the throttle is just left the rpm still remains the same ie the engine revs by the fore of the gearbox
in the same case if we just pull the clutch and release throttle the rpm comes to idle rpm

since in both the cases throttle is not give the fuel consumed wil be the same
so my doubt is which practice is better
1.letting the engine rev and bike move just by the force of gearbox
2.keeping the clutch engaged so that bikes move freely till the signal
                        3.should i shift to neutral i don't think so
what are the pros and cons of using the clutch like that

One of the tips to increase fuel efficiency is to minimize use of clutch..so release the throttle and don't engage the clutch,in other words option 1 and then shift to neutral when you are coming to a complete halt.

i agree using clutch increases the fuel consumption but there
the carburetor i fully shut since we are not giving throttle
and doesn't revving the engine just by the force of the gearbox
                            cause some damage

Its not just the force of your gear box, its the momentum you already have. If the load is too high on the gear box, you'd already know with the rev's being a lot higher and gears acting in place of braking(not quite literally...get my drift)

Using your clutch is a bad idea...but then your bike moving in nuetral is even bad if I'm not wrong

ok is the engine moving just by the momentum and the force of the gearbox
would't it stress the gearbox ok i guess i need a detailed explanation of what is happening inside the engine in the case 1 and case 2
