FFE..Next Month
Hi,Originally posted by shv18 View Postas i have already mentioned in my previous post... so far no one else has done full souped up fz from joel... Currently, the only guys who have ordered Stage1:FFE are me, RanjithMN & may be Abhijitkn...
I'll go for the FFE mod probably next month...need to work on funding...currently working on HIDs.
Hi All,
Has anyone changes the battery for higher Voltage?
I'm planning to install Hella micro-DE (twin) Fog Lamps. I already have 43K bixenon HID setup.
I was travelling in the day light & as soon as I enter a tunnel & I switched on the HID, but to my surprise I could not see the beam as if the light is not working, tried high beam also but of no use. But when I travel in the night I can see the beam. It is due to the temperature difference, since our eyes can not adjust to the sudden temp difference. That is why HID beam can not be seen properly under street lights.
Let me know how I can install Hella Micro De set up with changing the battery mod. I'm not planning to use them together, but only when needed. I'm not worried about the starter since I have kick but I need the horn to be working perfectly when I use Hella HIDs.
Also I would like to how I can mount the extra switch for Hella HIDs since I will use them as needed & only when I tour.
Appreciate any help....Last edited by abhijitkn; 05-30-2011, 12:11 PM.

Hi deville,Originally posted by deville_56 View PostMe on Pirelli. Much more flickable and stoppable.
Could you tell me from where you bought the Pirelli and how much you paid for it? I guess, it's soft compound.Your bike is a part of you....

I bought from Tyre Palace, Kollam as it was out of stock here. 130/70 available @New Bharath. 3800 INR. Not too soft. Both vendors guarantees better life than MRF Revz.Originally posted by danny king View PostHi deville,

If you want to use normal halogens in the hella micro de than there is no need of going for battery mod.... But if you want to put in a set of HIDs you will have to go for rewinding......Originally posted by abhijitkn View PostHi,

Just out of curiosity, I want to know how your overall experience is, with your FZ.Originally posted by deville_56 View Post140/70 direct fit.
As for me, I like the bike. It's done 19,000+ kms and 2 1/2 years old. It's well maintained. But now its giving some problems. It's so difficult to make the svc people understand the symptoms.Your bike is a part of you....

. Clocked almost 27k km. No issues other than knocking front shock, which they tighten at every service and crop up on the way home after service
