The levers that are provided by Yami's as Accessories have a good brake and clutch lever, they are heavy duty one,you can get that but it'll be somewhat costly !!

Hello all, finally completed 10000 km on my bike. Immediatly did the 8th paid service. It took around 19 months for this target.
So overall, I think I have achieved a sort of record of 10000km with zero accidents and almost no scratches (from any scuffle or accident) except a lot of ones on the tank due to washing and scrubbing.
I had earlier enquired about painting it but think its too costly. Instead I plan on spray painting the bike. I only need to cover the tank . May I please know the cost for paint and the spray gun?
Is it adequate for an amateur like me to do it or should I search for the nearest spray painter?Reduce 1 km/hr speed, add 1second 2 ur life.

FZ stock levers aren't exactly weak, they have a crumble zone at the ends to break off at impact.15k on my ODO and my lever has broke only once and that too in a crash.Originally posted by cscsarkar331 View Postyes bro, yamaha levers are very weak.I have replaced 3 times till now.better you go for aftermarket ones.dont go for yamaha fz accesories, they are overpriced & not upto the mark.If you get any good levers pm me also.
and about the levers from YAMAHA ACC..ive used the ones on the R15 and they are pretty durable,my friend's has survived many crashes now.i suppose its the same with FZ's.
and about getting aftermarket ones.....it might be a little tough.unlike the Pulsar's/HONDA's/RTR's...YAMAHA uses a diff. kind of brake switch..that means the break lever will have a diff shape at the end...so usually all the aftermarket ones dont fit YAMAHA directly..you will have to modify the break switch.Smoke rubber, not tobacco.

it is not impact, just evev if fz falls in standing position, that also too slowly my lever got broken.& once just a little touch of a near vehicle the full joint of lever broke & came out.So what shall I tell???Originally posted by RanjithMN View PostFZ stock levers aren't exactly weak, they have a crumble zone at the ends to break off at impact.15k on my ODO and my lever has broke only once and that too in a crash.

I had multiple falls and my lever never broke
The R15 lever suggested by Ranjith won't fit FZ, because of the same switch issue in both sides. I almost bought that and clarification with the SA dropped that idea
. Yamaha accessory lever cost almost 2k for the set
