the daytona kits are not even worth mentioning.
The stock FZ's exhaust system is very restrictive and the excessive back-pressure created by the resonator system is a negative influence on engine longevity. A proper tuned exhaust system enhances performance massively and also reliability.
I'd say thats the first mod for the FZ. Will start my line-up of exhausts for the FZ and post figs. Now with the db killer, streetablity is not compromised much.sigpic

tubless Puncture repair kit
its been only 2 months i got my new beast....i took very gu care of it...
but recently one of my friend rode it on a plaing ground...and later on i found
2 Iron nails deeply plugged in to my Rear Wheels....
when i tried to remove it....the wheel started to loose air...so i put tha nail back in....went to the Tyre repair shop...
And i was surprised to see that, the mechanic found 2 big nails (2 inch each) penetrated the huge tyre.....is the FZ tyres made of such a soft compound rubber.
he took 150Rs for repairing the punctures ...which took only 10mins...
could someone let me know how much does the puncture repair kit cost??
And after how many puncture on the Tubless tyres, is it advisable to change the Rear Tyres....any idea brothers??

chk out ebay for tyre punctre repair kits... ig ot mine for 150rs with 3 rubber strips.... and no matter what the compound of rubber is iron will always be harder than rubber..... as long as you are able to repair the punctures i dont think there is a need to change the rear tyre....Originally posted by shetty_vikas View Postits been only 2 months i got my new beast....i took very gu care of it...

Guys just dropped my bike for service today ... Pacer motors is charging a whopping 495 bucks for service ... so this time my service bill went like this
service - 495Rs
air filter and spark plug - check / change - 230Rs and 105Rs respectively .
Chain lubrication - 180Rs
wheel truing - 100Rs ( got this done coz i thought the markings were slightly off )
So guys , I told him about the RIM bend and he had it checked there and said that it can be removed ... and the replacement would be 1700Rs ... Told him I had to think about it ... now is trying to get it fixed a better idea or just replace it ?

Its been a long time on this forum.....
I have decided to give my 1.5 yr old FZ 16 for a paint job. What would be the approximate cost required? Atleast for the tank because the paint has faded and the quality of paint is not good.
I plan to give my black FZ a blue and grey paint of the new FZ S. How will it look?Reduce 1 km/hr speed, add 1second 2 ur life.

P.S : Pacer seems to have done a really marvellous job on the bike , seems like new ... they really did take the effort to service the bike ... Also now there is another chief engineer there who is sitting like a hawk watching these guys go about their work and scrutinizing it ...
