      • ^^ relax. dont freak out. Suspensions settings are for the suspension to run suitably, not get damaged or anything.

Try out different settings and see what suits your riding style best. Thats all that has to be done. Chill.

Hey but weren't u getting around 43 kmpl before the switch??So mileage has gone down??Or was the 43 with semi-sane riding?

BTW how do u guys clean the rear tyre's rim??It gets really sticky and does not become clean like the front rim..

by a few mm. Softer setting is good for city riding. If you are regularly carrying a pillion then better to take it one less than softest.

Stiffer settings are better for highways where the undulations, bumps on the roads are lesser, so a stiffer ride is more comfortable as the rear wallows lesser.

A softer suspension will also give you slower acceleration as compared to a stiffer one ( like a drag race ).

Your suspension might bottom out ( the wheel might touch the inner mud guard, if the bike is severely overloaded and the suspension is on the soft setting ( but im sure now they have stop guards.

yes 43 under moderately aggresive riding , at about 80 kays ... this time it was on max thrash mode ... still getting 42kmpl . so all izz well

cleaning the rim ? bro , yes I agree the rear rim is not as easy as the front , just a little bit more effort is all that is required .

                  • I know this is a stupid question but still can't help myself from asking this.

Can you guys tell me what all things we can do, to improve the performance of Fuzzy

Has anyone done it. If I want to install a new silencer pike aka exhaust system which one should I install, I am not asking about the DAYTONA kit here please refrain yourself from talking about the daytona kit, I want other options which are affordable

                    Thanks a lot.

go thru the owners manual, it will specify the type of tool needed. If you can get that tool from any shop, you can do it yourself. else get it done at the SVC centre.

                        • FUel Query

Guys i was chatting up with the head mechanic when my bike got serviced. He was saying the carburetor has a paper filter in it. Hence, if you switch to higher octane fuel like 97+, it will eventually eat up the cells in the filter. Just for knowing sake is this true?? I only fill her up with regular fuel as i haven't witnessed any gains.

I had read somewhere that Motul has 10W40 as well as 20W40 SS oils. Thats what is bugging me.

Just want a SS oil of the recommended grade. I am damn confused of the grades now.

Motul 15W 50 SS is for Rs 450/- I had asked the motul supplier, he didn't have 20W 40 SS....

Is he talking about the air filter? If yes then he's wrong, there is no way the fuel comes in contact with the air filter.

Bloody brilliant numbers those Nand. increase in top-end with no diff to FE. Could you tell me how did you tighten the chain slack. Some pics of the process would be very helpful.
