dude I told you to watch for unecessary suggestions , here's one of them ... they don't do a thing on that front man ... I checked up . I aligned my wheel at sai and iyengars once and i'm fine with it ... anyway , just make sure he does it in front of you man ... he'll say he did it , but will NOT do it ... they give a rats fart about it dude ...
Ah man, this is baaaad. Damn, and I trusted that dude. I'm sooo pissed right now. Oh next time I'm gonna be like no way. Hell after the 2nd year I aint going to these guys. I'd rather do whatever I can and go to Perfect Riders for any major stuff and I'll stay right there while they do it.
    Everyone falls down, doesn't matter...
But its how fast you get up, that matters.....

        Any problems:

        * Clutch Replay had to be checked as at times, my gears would not engage from neutral to 1st or 2nd in traffic. So had to leave the clutch and then engage it again to change gears and then the gears would change freely. Problem is still niggling a bit but now a lot less. I guess the torsion spring problem thingi is still existent with all the FZs from different models.

        *
Same thing is happening with my bike

          - 9.4 secs , shifting at 5k rpm .

But do remember that the method itself woulda costed me a few 'ms' and my bike is on reserve ... So a lil bit more out there ... I think it should do it in 6 secs ...

Next up , 0-100kmph , top end speed and the much awaited mileage figures ... :d

pics attached on how i did it and the timings , my last timing of 6.3 secs got erased , have the others ...
what time would a stock fz take to hit 60 if shifted at 5k..?

          • guys back with another sprocket setup update ... today clocked 112kmph on the speedo at about 8k on the RPM ... not impressive ??? well okay , here's the thing , the time taken from 80 to that mark is waaayyyyy better than stock , no struggle to get there or wait to achieve it ... smooth roll on the throttle and the beast just glided through ... had a pillion on the run ... still had a bit of throttle left .

bangy guys would know , did the run on the EC elevated highway , stopped coz a darn tempo traveller had broken down

according to various sources the fastest is 5.3 sec.. so if you are shifting at 5k it should take somewhere around 6-7 sec..

but thats with your custom sprocket setup no..? 9.7 is a bit long i feel. I think something around 8 - 8.5 is what it should be. And regarding your latest update, congrats. Now waiting for 0-100 timing and fe figures as well.

i dont think so... instead the bike might start stalling when going over rumblers or at signal lights or extreme braking scenarios....

sorry bro forgot to mention the FE figures ... my last run had filled up 200rs worth of fuel , and the bike ran for 132kms ... so returned a healthy 41.64kmpl ... , speeds ranged from 50-80kmph , only once did i hit 90kmph ... now checking for consistency , have put in another 200rs worth of fuel ... waiting to hit reserve to check it out

I guess thats the common mileage what we all are getting. I dont see any changes in mileage front after chaging from stock.

BTW how much was your previous FE and top speed on Stock?

Take it on a open highway and let us know if there is any difference in the top whack.
