  • ok guys here you go , acceleration figures ...

    0-60kmph - 6.3 secs , shifting at 9k RPM ... achieved in 2nd gear itself

    - 9.4 secs , shifting at 5k RPM .

But do remember that the method itself woulda costed me a few 'ms' and my bike is on reserve ... so a lil bit more out there ... I think it should do it in 6 secs ...

next up , 0-100kmph , top end speed and the much awaited mileage figures ...

Pics attached on how I did it and the timings , my last timing of 6.3 secs got erased , have the others ...

lastly, what will the dent in my pocket be?
^^ please anyone? Also any performance gain sans the daytona exhaust kit?

Spark plug used by many here is the NGK Iridium. Very little improvement in perf.

K&N Air filters not reco'ed by many here as it does nothing to perf, just that the tone of your exhaust changes.

IMHO going for the plug is better than the filter. It'll be about 500-600 last I checked.

As for the daytona kit, just search for the posts by Helios. He's fitted it on his bike.

Any car accessory shop should have it. Last I heard its around 300-400 bucks.

Although one question. Why do you have an ipod taped to your tank? Thats recording the lap times ??

You have to manually press the button when u hit the speeds?

yes it is ... which is why i stated the method is flawed ... I push the button , fly of the line , redline it in first , shift to second and then hand on the button and wait for it to hit 60 then whack the pause button ...

any better ideas ??? cost effective ones at that , a dyno run in pacer will cost me 1000 bucks , plus it's absolutely NOT worth it ...

                        • Hello Guys,

My bike front indicator got broken when i parked it in my office. Don't know how that happenned. Thats alltogether another story.

So now have to get that indicator. For this do i need to change the entire setup? Also someone please tell me whether i can have my silencer coated with stock colours again? It got helluva amount of scratches on it and i feel like crying everytime i see it.

Please where in bangalore i can have this? I enquired in orion earlier and they said its not possible.

                          Any help/pointers will be appreciated.

                          Thanks

                            Did you go to Pacer?

I had been there to drop off my bike for service, dude was asking me if I need to change the oil. I said no. I think they dont have it in 1L bottles, though I dont know what other denominations they'd store it in.

Service chief dude, said he'll change my gear damper to see if my gear shift problems are gone. Lets see. Also I begged him to tighten the chain. I hope this time they do it.

Apart from that the usual rear wheel alignment (I dont know why this is done every time) and chain lubing.

210 bucks for airfilter. Manual says 12k km for airfilter na???? I changed at 19k km owing to nonavailability.
