Some bigger bikes are there with 13TOriginally posted by juniorbiker403 View Posti am also planning to replace the front 14t sprocket with a "smaller" size(may be available on smaller 100cc bikes)since it will increase the acceleration through the gears(by a small margin though) and i am ready to compromise on top speed(it is of no use to me).
, RTR160 and ZMA. You could also try the R15 rear sprocket, 42T.

AFAIK, all performance filters including the Cosworth universal conical filter have a 2' flange inner dia, where as the FZ's stock carb mouth outer dia is only 1.5'. So how did you bolt it directly to the carb??? Can you please post pic's.Originally posted by juniorbiker403 View Postfilter is installed directly on the carbMotorcycling Experience:

Thanks deville,I thought that the lower capacity(100cc)bikes run a smaller front sprocket to compensate for horses and give an in-gear acceleration equivalent to atleast 125ccOriginally posted by deville_56 View PostSome bigger bikes are there with 13T

The filter has a (I don't know what to call it exactly)metal tie with a nut so that the filter can be tightened e work was done by the svc mechanic.I also checked the filter to make sure it was properly tightened to carb.Originally posted by ashwinprakas View PostAFAIK, all performance filters including the Cosworth universal conical filter have a 2' flange inner dia, where as the FZ's stock carb mouth outer dia is only 1.5'.
