For info guys, the FZ16 has been launched in south east asia with a 120/70 rear tubeless tyre. Everything else being the same.
So it wont hurt fitting a thinner tyre and checking... has anyone tried it yet?? Im guessing it should give better mileage and acceleration..

FFE if you travel on the highway better go for it! Cause it improves your top end by a good margin! But city rides and all will be made more fun when you remove the db killer you cant expect that kinda improvement in performance inside city boss but can expect a bit more grunt and torque in the mid range!! The kit just adds on to the strength of the bike (which is its mid range torque)

Hi,
whether to go for FZ/ FZ-S purely depends on you. Both are mechanically same bikes. FZ is available only in red and black whereas FZ-S you have colour options. If you have the budget to spend 2-3k extra and you like the colour schemes in FZ-S, you can go for it. As far as the body part colour is concerned, it is utter nonsense that you cannot change it on FZ-S.... since both the bikes share same panels you can change it to whichever colour you like irrespective of the FZ/FZ-S model. As long as you are willing to shell out 3k extra, the svc guys will do it for you, no questions asked.A quote by a toilet, " use me well, keep me clean, i would never tell anybody whatever i have seen.." :PComment

Have any one using smaller profile rear tyre on FZ? I got information from a friends that his friend has put smaller 17 inch Michelin tyre and that improves mileage by 5kms and has better grip on sand gravel and wet condition than stock mrf radials.---------------------

guys,the engine oil that comes with Fz-16 can be used for how many kilometers before changing??bcoz I have ridden only 700-800 km after the last change 3 months back,so please help me.....

What grade of oil have you used ???
mineral will run for about 1500km , semi synth for 2.5k to 3k kms and synth about 6k+ kms ... so with 700-800 kms on the oil , you really needn't worry about it .People ask me , why are you cribbing about the BHP ? to them I say "MORE is never ENOUGH" xbhp.com

Please refer to the owner's manual once. You interval of changing oil is every 3000kms or a certain no. of days from the day of the last servicing. i can't recollect the exact figure right now.
