Have a look at agip FS ... costs 620 bucks per litre , I am using it , now done about 6000km on it ... still working perfectly ... it's looking good , bike is running smooth . Looking to change at the 10k km mark ... right now stuck at 9.5K km due to air issues .

    ride report:

    mileage: 40kmpl part ripping
    cost: nothing apart from servicing
mods done: projector + angel eyes + HID
tyre report: not a sign of wear
planning on mods: semi synth (either motul or shell), handle bar grips
semi-synth motul shoud be good ... on handle bar grips , what exactly are you planning ??? Don't change the stock , I did that early on and realized my mistake . just look for a cushion that you can use over the stock ...
People ask me , why are you cribbing about the BHP ? to them I say "MORE is never ENOUGH" xbhp.com

FZ16 headlight assembly with projector and angel eye for sale .

      Guys one problem:
Last week had been to an outing with friends, so just before leaving i washed my bike and filled pertol. Then, my bike refused to start(bike is 5months old 5.5k on odo) had to push my bike it started. Again inafternoon when i tried to start i dint start, had to push it again to make it start.
This is not the first time, before also had got the same problem after washing my bike.

      Please help me out
erm not sure, but check the battery terminals. There is a possibility that the relay box may have some problem if water is leaking inside it... just a guess though..Get it checked.

      cheers

      • Helooo...!!

Hey guys...i am going to buy fz-16 in 2-3 months but i have some trouble with myself..I am a short guy,my height is only 5 feet 1 inch ..I test drive this bike(one of my friends has it) and i m very comfortable to the bike..But the main problem is my height,my front toes only reach to the bike when i'm balancing the bike with both legs..But i can fully flat footed on ground when i'm balanceing with any one leg.

Few of my friends that its a normal thing tht both legs are not flat footed on ground while on bike..but few others say that you wil get problem while rideing the bike to dont take bike go for activa ..So i wanted some suggestion that is it ok to ride fz-16 on one leg i mean flat footed or i quit takeing my bike.!!

So i wanted to have some suggestion from PRO RIDERS or its better to say EXPIRIENCED RIDERS....plz help i am in deep trouble...!!!

bikes are not the end of the world.
you might get some problem while moving through the traffic. but that can be solved with practice and a bit high heel shoes.
if you still have doubts can i recommend you avenger? you would not have a problem with it.

You can easily tame the beast. Go for it.

                • HI frnds...
I am having trouble while changing the gears... The gear shift is not smooth...
While Changing the gears there is a crank like voice...
Its after the 2nd service. I had put 15W50 yamaha lube in my Fazer.

Is it due to the oil or clutch adjustment,,,,,
                  Comments pls....

I was also having the same problem, told the services center guys a lot of times regarding the problem, they told that, as we have changed the engine oil it will take some time to smoothen up and it will be fine. But the same problem continued... then to my surprise I received a sms from Yamaha that I can refresh my bike with few new parts. I checked with the service center they told that my bike is not eligible for the free of cost spare changes. Then I wrote a complain to the Yamaha back office regarding the same and then I received a call from them and they told they will look into the matter.

Then I got a call from the same service center to get my bike to them and they changed the bikes push lever and torsion spring free of cost.

And to my surprise the gear shifting issue with my bike is gone, because of the change of PUSH LEVER which controls the clutch which helps in GEAR shifting

I used to ride Gladiator and Unicorn with the toe-only reach condition, never faced any issues. All you need is just confidence. Toe-reach is more than enough to ride a bike, except some situations like pushing the bike while sitting on it or stalling with one side too inclined. In city, as you said previously you can tilt a bit and use one leg when stopping, anyway you need to use one only while stopping []. Unlike other bikes, FZ got great balance (you rode it na??) and is steady even at dead slow speeds. So ........
