    yeah fazer's headlight assembly is divided into 2 parts...

    1. fairing
    2. headlight....

    headlight dome is glued to the reflector like any other bike...

    for removing these headlight domes I think the best way is the oven way...

        Every bike was built for a purpose... NO OFFENCE but why dont u get a better performance bike than wasting money on the FZ???

          the ABS system is good and has been used by many people....
          it is a plug and play system just google mechanical ABS for more info and videos...

          the rest i dont think is of any use for FZ....

            I was just wondering...what will happen if you ride your fz with the ' Choke Lever ' engaged for like say 8-9 kms ??...

            Im referring to any engine damage or any sort of mechanical damage..because someone told me that you will only burn more fuel !..but no damage of sorts...

            is that true ?

              ^^ yup true ... also you won't be able to ride for too long cause typically it would "choke your engine" and you would stall over speed breakers or if you drop speed ...

                  Hey guys..long time since I posted,been busy
                  I gave my bike to Pacer Yamaha for my 3rd free service and they charged me RS.664 for Wheel balance and tappet adjustment..but the sound of loose tappets is still there and they tightened the rear brakes so much I had a really bad skid on my way home.Damage to my leg,not my bike..I was wondering whether I should confront them on monday about the tappets?
                  Also is there any way for us to do this ourselves,cause 500 bucks every service is way too much

                    hello guys i've brought my bike abt a month ago for 1st 1000 km i didn't go beyond 4000 rpm now my bike is at 1100 km and 1st servicing has been done few days ago today i thought of reaching my bike top speed but i noticed when i reached at 72 km or 80 km ! it vibrates and noise of engine is max it it's level also the engine seems so stressed when i reach at 8000 rpm i've never face these kind of problem with my previous bike fazer.Why is this happening ? please help oh one thing i would like u to know that i've changed my oil filter during 1st servicing and changed my engine oil to Yamalube mineral 20w40

                      dude..... 1000km doesnt mean that you can rip it out give it some time..... FZ is not meant for higher rpms it will vibrate fz performs its best in the mid range and the low range....

                      but yeah there shouldnt be any noticable vibration at 70-80kmph....

                      still i will suggest you to take a ride on some other bike and check whether it vibrates the same as yours or not....

                          not necessary.... use it for another 100-200km and then see... let the oil and the parts come in unison..

                                Ripped FZS to 117km/hr

                                hey Guys just came back from a nite ride to Tiger Point, Lonavala with my group Valiant Riderz.

                                I bought my vehicle on 7th Feb 2011, i did the first service on 3rd March 2011 with 513 km on the Odometer.

                                While Going to Tiger point i was making my vehicle Familiar with Speed in the range of 60-80km/hr.

                                Now my question is, while coming back i ripped my Vehicle too hard to check its top Speed, i managed to achieve 117km/hr .

                                one some occasion even defeated the Pulsar 220 and Fazer on pick up.

                                Do you there will be any problem to the engine because of the above mentioned scenarios.

                                Some times while speeding down and changing the gear from high to low the gear tends to get stuck on 3rd or 2nd gear,what could be the cause of thss..
