You can sit on the bike, slot it in 2nd gear, push it yourself ans start.
1st gear isnt recommended for certain technical reasons.Smoke rubber, not tobacco.

Query
Hello everybody,
I have some queries.. I have not opened another new thread and putting my queries here....
I am looking forward to buy a bike. But to achieve that I need your little help. I have short listed the following bikes
1. Dazzler
2. Hunk
3. FZ16
4. Apache RTR 160 Hyper Bridge
The question I need to ask:
1. Can I add a leg guard to FZ16 without modifying anything? It is needed for safety. So please don't tell me that it spoils some looks.
2. Dazzler has got maintenance free chain others has got that also?
3. Is the high handle bar problem is rectified in the new version of Hunk?
4. Has all the bikes got battery indicator? I think it is needed as the machines solely depends on battery?
5. FZ16 has all plastic body(as well as the tank and muffler), will it create any problem in the long run?Last edited by alto; 03-11-2011, 04:51 AM.

^^ Bro you have a What bike section solely for this purpose , please do open a thread there ... but to answer your query with respect to the FZ16 , YES you can fit a leg guard without mods , NO the chain is not maintenance free , It needs a bit of maintenance ... and NO the plastic bodywork won't be a problem ...
P.S: Guys , Just did a round trip to pondicherry and back ... 700+ kms over two and a half days and constantly on the higher end of the speed range and the bike performed like a charm ... Absolutely cruised to 110kmph with a pillion and luggage ...
I also switched back to stock from the projector headlamp because the light output from that wasn't enough on a highway run and the bike didn't have any problems whatsoever ...

Little jerks
Guys, today i was riding on my way to petrol pump to fill her up on the way being on reserve the bike started giving a bit of hiccups.. i guess fuel being extremely low.. however, even after full tank, i did observe the same amount of hiccups happening for good 15kms... any idea? may be some dirt went inside the carburetor or something? i am not too sure..
any advice would be appreciated
A slight OT... our very own mod god Joel has come up with performance exhaust for FZ and other bikes:http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/pit-stop...w-exhaust.html
He soon intends to provide a hardcore street spec kits for FZ, bigger carb, Big bore kit, race camshafts etc. like he did for R15

Just an opinion - Current FZ disk breaks are undoubtedly the best in class & does its job flawlessly.. Plus for a 150CC bike with top end range of just about 120kmph, i dont think an additional front disc is required. You can most certainly go for the rear disc if you wishOriginally posted by aditaya.chopra View Postanyone tryed to modify front disk to double disk plz share

Oh.. then its allright. But I'v never seen anyone (neither in xbhp nor anyone else) going for double front disks mod on any indian bike of such low cc. Anyways good luck with the venture & if you do succeed somehow, do post your experience here broOriginally posted by aditaya.chopra View Posti want front disk for fun, looks and stoppe and i thint no one has done such mod in bike as i have search whole xbhp for that
