In that case, i'v to hunt down all the SVC in my city one at a time & see if I'm lucky enough to get it sorted out from any of them without having to open up the entire arangement.

I am looking for an oil which :
    1. Avoid overheating of engine on long distance rides
2.keep the engine life long and healthy
    3.budget wise within <500rs
4.ready to change the Oil every 1000kms
    5.looking for performance.

is it ok if i switch to a Different grade of the oil after 2000kms on the ODO on a new FZS???:confused
Dude, please stick to yamalube mineral oil for atleast your initial free service period & your bike is new so I guess you have quiet a lot of free services left yet. They'll remark it in their job sheet if you don't change oil from SVC itself at every service & that may cause you issues while claiming any sort of warranty on engine & related components at a later stage if anything goes wrong. Plus Yamalube is a decent oil so dont worry bout it much.

Standard mineral oil will cost you only 224 bucks and the changing interval is every 3000kms or 170 days i think....

    cheers
Bro, I dont know if it is mentioned anywhere if mineral oil lasts for 3k kms but trust me from personal experience, mineral oil goes totally kaput after 1.5 k or max 2 k.. anyways, if you are using mineral oil, why stretch it so long? Getting it replaced every 1.5 k 0r 2 k seems like a better option IMO.. No point stretching engine life & performance for just Rs 224/- na ?

for adjusting the focus there is a screw beneath the headlight... and by focus i am assuming that your beam ig either going upwards or downwards...

P.S: I am also riding a passion plus (rented) from the past couple of days and I sure miss my monster (gone home) like anything.....
Adjusted The headlight, The beam was going upwards to the TREES
Loving the ride, Will test the beam in the evening. For now just getting the feel of the bike.

Kinshuk how does this method actually work?? I tried out but the Tyre wouldn't budge in 5th gear (or whatsoever gear) while on main stand ?
Do we have to keep the clutch engaged & the jerk the real wheel while releasing the clutch?
        Throw some light bro..

i have teavelled for around 220km with the mineral oil (stock) even then there was no problem of overheating..... your engine will remain cool for around 300-400 km of continuous run with any kind of good engine oil...

yea you have to keep the clutch engaged and move the rear wheel .
then let go the clutch quickly when the wheel is on the move.

make sure the Ignition is on and petrol lever is on !!!

& engine would not halt again? i mean without clutch in 5th gear the engine/tyre rotations need to be high in order to keep the engine running right ?

Well, i am currently on 2300kms + since, my last service and on Motul Mineral Oil. and if you go back a page or two, i have also posted my 350 kms ride report with the same oil. No engine overheating or performance drop.

If you are concerned about your bike overheating on long rides then don't worry that won't be the case. As long as you maintain your bike with regular service intervals and oil change, you bike will never overheat or give you any kind of trouble.

                    Cheers

you will have to give it some accelerator after it starts....

Alternatively, you could have the bike in second gear, push the bike a lil distance jump over it and let the clutch go. Kinda like this....

Why 2nd gear, we can always do so in first gear itself. I'v done so many a times myself. Just hop on your bike, make sure engine switch is on, turn on fuel, get the bike in first gear & ask anyone around to push your bike just for a couple of metres while you keep your clutch engaged & let off the clutch when you see speed around 10 kmph on speedo.. Works everytime

I push my FZ while sitting on the bike, and literally not pushing but just moving one leg and release the clutch on 2nd gear and pop up some accelerator and vrooooooooooooooom
