That is the reason companies give the recommended tyre pressure and also mention that this will be under cold condition of the tyres.

In Cold conditions, air(or for that matter any kind of solid, liquid or gases) contracts or shrinks. Expansion of matter takes place only if you raise the temperature.

read the full quote bro , he has said air will expand after sometime ... which implies that it will expand when the bike has run a bit and the tyres get hot ...

I read the full quote bro..In that scenario, irrespective of the situation being hot, cold or wet the air will expand when the bike has run a bit and the tires get hot. No offense meant, I chipped in cuz I felt that was a sort of misinformation.

Anyways, do update us about your FZ. How is it doing now..is it still having that problem..or you got it fixed??

Pacer motors shivajinagar , these guys are good , it's just that they can't see the problem in action ... coz i can't guess when it gives up , only the 1st time they saw the problem and fixed it ... but it has reared it's ugly head again ...

I have described it , but here it is again ... the bike just shuts down completely ... and by completely I mean electricals , engine ... everything ... and then what i gotta do is open the RHS side panel and there is a round box above the fuse box , gotta whack that box and it comes back to life ... yesterday a fuse had blown ... no idea how or why ...

As a second opinion why not try an another SVC.. Maybe the whole batch of fuses with Pacer is bad or whatever. No fault of [acer but just an unlucky batch of fuses!

Orion ??? thats my other option but I heard these guys are NOT good with respect to service ... , plus this is the first time the Fuse blew , well actually 2nd time but the first blow out was my stupidity ... The bike generally doesn't blow it's fuse just gives up ...

alright , small misunderstanding on my part then ...

bike update , just rode it for about 60km yesterday , didn't give up on me ... But i wouldn't want to risk it ...

If you soften your suspension then you need to compromize a bit with the handling part. But its okay if you commute in city.

If you read the complete post then this is not misinformation but misunderstanding from your end. Why do you think tyre companies recommend ideal pressure and why do they mention temperature conditions?

                Waiting for your answer.

                • Starting Problem

                  Hi,
My bike's starting problem has become a never ending issue to me.
Got bettery charged twice from the service centre, but after 10 days of charging the bike simply refuses to start.
The SVC guy checked whether the battery is getting charged while the bike is on, it was getting charged .

Please let me know what might be the problem, shall i go for battery change?
Also let me know any effect to battery if i use engine kill button frequently?

The SVC guys are useless when it comes to batteries. Get your batteries checked from a local battery shop. The SVC guys will always tell you that they have checked everything but never do.

If there local battery shop guys tell you that battery is fine then take it to a trusted mechanic. Ask him to identify the problem. Once he does that then take it to SVC and get the part replaced / repaired.

                      • Hey RAK, thanks for the reply.
Ya the service guys are useless when it comes to battery, but he checked whether the battery is getting charged while bike is on in front of me itself. Thats the reason I am worried.
My bike is just 7months old and clocked 8k kms.
As far as I am aware guys who have clocked more than 15k kms doesnt have any issue with their battery. My bike has Excide battery.

Also please let me know if getting a kick fitted will have any issues.

                        • guys did another 60km today .... no issues with the bike ... which leads me to believe that the failure is because of the headlight ... running a 55W bulb with the projector ... all three failures have happened at night only ... any suggestions guys ...

I've been running on 60/55W without any fail with passby used frequently (adding up 115W ) day and night.

Thats comforting , but I have had all three failures at night and on consecutive days ... no issue in the daylight whatsoever ... never had a problem before ,
