    Got the 3rd servicing done this wednesday.. and I must say, the bike never felt smoother than this . It reaches the top speed in no time and without much vibrations or strain.. Of course the top speed is only ~120 *sigh* .. I wish it could go faster..

    Yesterday was a day of defeat for me.. a P220 beat me while going to the office in the morning, and a Karizma did the job while returning back.. It really feels bad when you beat them in the first 400-500 mts.. and then lag behind due to a lower top speed..
    Waiting the Fazer 250 to launch soon.. !

      I'm planning to install "OSRAM NIGHTBREAKER HEADLIGHT BULB H4 60/55W" for my fazer.

      Is it advisable to put the bulb at 2 sides ? I want to setup both the headlights to glow at sometime (as all of us know that Fazer supports either low or high to be glow), so I think the OSRAM NIGHTBREAKER bulb should support both the High and Low beam glowing characteristics.

      What will be my effect with the Battery ?

        I havent really found much of a diff. with OSRMA NIGHTBRAKER over a regular 55W,except tht its a bit whiter...and 500 rs costlier
        and i dont think its good to have 2 55w switched on all the time

        There is nothing to feel bad abt.those are more powerful machines.and the reason they beat you is not because of a bigger top speed.

          Its ok,dont feel sorry.for a 150cc it is more than enough.what we want for speed is more cc from yamaha.IF YAMAHA EVER THOUGHT OF TAKING DECISION FROM THEIR LOYAL CUSTOMERS EXCEPT THEIR RND DEPT.INDIA YAMAHA COULD VERY WELL BE BREAKING ALL OTHER SPEED RECORDS FROM HERO HONDA,BAJAJ,TVS,SUZUKI.

                My Fazer which is 200 KM old , First Service not yet done , First Service to be happen in 10 days.

                I noticed that at first and second gear engine feels harsh sound after 2nd gear from 3rd gear Its super smooth.

                So I had a work to travel near showroom and took bike to the SVC guys.

                One guy told It will be like that for 1000 KM , so don't worry.

                Why I am putting this query , he laughed in a sarcastic manner told this answer so bit worried........

                      This may sound a bit naive ..While shifting gears is there any difference when we use half clutch or full clutch ?Just got curious..

                        My god is she beautiful!This strengthens my opinion that this is the best looking bike in India barring the SBKs
                        But I feel Yamaha should have left the bike as it was..only black is an improvement over the old paint-schemes..

                          Fazer gearshift problem

                          A month old Yamaha Fazer 150 is acting weird on gear shifting. When the gear is shifted (up/down), the headlight blinks for a second. The headlight blinks only when the gear is changed. This happens even when the headlights are turned off.

                          I have uploaded a video to demonstrate what exactly happens.

                            yeah always use full clutch if u dont want to change the clutch plates before their time...

                              rear drum brakes making sound

                              hi all,
                              just an information for fazer users who are getting "kat kat" sound while applying rear brakes. My bike used to give same sound and i took it to SVC, i think they polished the rear drum brakes with some sort of paper and now the sound's gone. Hope it may help some one.

                                Yeah....he must have cleaned the brake liner with sand paper. Remember do not ride the bike immediately after wash. If you ride it immediately then dust enters the liners and stick to it, which is repsonsible for that sound.

                                After sometime of your bike wash ride it for sometime with rear brake partialy engaged. This is remove all the remaining water from the liners.
