Guys finally got around to changing my engine oil ... Put in Agip FS 5W40 ... costed 620rs ...

I personally feel that agip is THE best FS for the FZ series as well as for the r15..

I feel hard to put gear in my Fazer.
I wear Slippers while driving , i feel really hard in making upshift...

engine sound and chain sound problem
heloo guys i am writing for the first time on this site however i have been following it from a long time. i am facing two problems with my FZ16 bike
1) engine sounds harsh as compared to other FZ bikes. service people says it is normal
2) chain is sounding wierd as if it is gonna break at any time. lubricated it a lot of times but al in vain..

got my fz back after 1st service.......engineoil nd oil filter changed......255 rs.....bike ran 474km so dey said no need of chain lub......dey added a rear mudflap on their own no charge........but the sound from rear drum is still dere dey said a a bush is problamatic they dont have stock so dey will change it later
.........wat to say.......throttle smoothen..engine sound smoother....feelin lik heaven exept d rear drum noise

Could you elaborate on your 1st question...what do you mean by harsh ?
Try putting your bike on the main stand and then rotate the rear wheel and check if there is any noise. Mostly the culprit can be sprocket bearings (just my opinion) due to which the chain must be getting mis-aligned.

depends on which bike you are comparing it to compare it with another fz or fazer...
2) chain is sounding wierd as if it is gonna break at any time. lubricated it a lot of times but al in vain..
